You can exploit even 1 missing HP and heal a unit making healers much easier to level, they may not level as quickly, but due to the fact that they don't take exp away from other normal units it's essentially 'free' exp so you can train healers without needing to attack. Once you promote the healers they can attack no matter what class they are there is not a single promoted class that can't attack in some way shape or form. As for splitting units, it's generally better to keep units paired on the harder difficulties, the lower difficulties it's not really necessary, but once you get used to the mechanics that shouldn't be a problem either.

Rescue doesn't give you quite that much without Paragon it's more like 20-30 depending on the level. 11 base for healing, 12 or so for mend healing. Rescue/Ward abuse isn't prudent for anybody not abusing DLC for cash, the 5 uses on Rescue gets rather costly when you're only getting about 1 lvl out of 1 staff, additionally it gets to be about 10 exp itself too when you second seal enough.

Both. It's the same with any marriage; You get the children of both parents, and those children become siblings, getting a different "sibling" support dialogue. Mind you, only Morgan and Lucina can have siblings.

You never lose any children, for the most part the children are tied to the mother the special cases are Chrom and Male Avatar. The Avatar and Chrom are the only ones that can create siblings as Draco said, what happens is you unlock both prologues when you marry so you can get both children at your leisure as normal aslong as the path is open to reach the level. Long story short you get them both, but you have to recruit them separately. Siblings can get an A rank with each other and never an S, but Lucina and Owain can get and S even though they're 1st cousins it changes it to companion instead of husband/wife to avoid the incest thing.

if i can say one thing about paralouge 16,it's this:
why, just WHY.I would have no problem with it...exept those mages with the insane range comboed with the knights with insane defence. The knights are easy to deal with(kinda/sorta/maybe,not),but the walls keep shifting, whitch means i have to escort Anna to the door, and that leaves her open to attack.I spent an hour on this mission, and failing. All i want is Nah,is that to much to ask game?
And i need to do this so i can regularly buy second seals,i can buy master ones, but not second

Mages and Falcon Knights should be able to brush off the magics, Swordmasters, Assassins, and Tricksters have high avoid to just evade the attacks and finally anything that spent any time as a Sorcerer for Tomebreaker will avoid most of the attacks. Any mage can kill knights and then you have the Armor effective weapons you can exploit. You can buy a few rescue staffs and drag your party that way using the rescued units to attack, you can also pull Anna away from the front lines. Anna should have enough evasion to avoid most attacks if she has Lucky 7, but if the Knights and their spears are a problem removing her Sword will remove the Weapon Triangle and increase her evasion significantly. If you find your team lacking you can always get better units from the StreetPass teams or even get an expendable thief to unlock the doors and not worry if they die as you can just rehire them later if you want.

i have a question about recriuting severa, how do you do it?Do you talk the the villager before she gets to him,or do you just have to follow her,and because i just tried this twice with severa dying both times,if you talk to her with chrom and the villager thingy-ma-bob gets triggered, will she join you death or not?Because if she can't join you if she reaches 0 HP,but the villager gets rescued the way you have to do it,i call taruos dung, why? It means i have to babysit her,and coming from a different game,i have had enough with frail NPCs that you have to escort and love to aggro everything, and even send a healer over with her doesn't garentee she lives, because walls simultaneously exist and don't exist at the same time,or the FE archers are very stong, one shot from an archer, and she is dead

tl;dr: how do you recruit severa in the quest and will she join regardless

If she's that frail increase the stats of the parents before entering the map and it will increase her starting stats, you can use rescue staffs to slow her advance if you really have to. To recruit her talk to her with Chrom then let her reach the Holland, pretty straightforward.

SO i started a new save file because off all the stupid desions i made and stuff i didn't know, and i have a couple questions.I now know that yout avatar can marry a child unit and morgan can be someones grandchild, and this time 'round,i made my avatar female, off the decision that she would marry chrom, but i'm having second thoughts.I've been thinking about having Lissa marry donnel, and then marrying my avatar with owain,is this,in any way, shape,or form viable,or just skip owain and directly have donnel marry my avatar, which brings me to another question, for the DLC paid maps,do you have to pay everytime you want to run them,or you pay once and then unlocked forever, and for the classes you can unlock, can you only get them once and only give them to one character?

Marriages are really up to you, pretty much any child unit will turn out really well. When it comes to children what you want to think of most is the skills they'll inherit or have access to.

As for DLC maps, as you'd expect you buy them once. You can complete them as many times as you want to get the items from them.

IMO Chrom is the best pairing for a fem avatar. You get to make the best Lucina possible, Morgan gets Rightful King, you create a single vulnerable unit (if you're playing casual) instead of two, and Chrom running his support set can't ask for a better person to support with his 100% Dual Strike ability thanks to Dual Strike+ (no it's not entirely necessary to eek out that extra chance, but 6 attacks before the enemy attacks is hilarious and you'll guarantee 4 attack attempts that go around Aegis/Pavise) The alternative to getting Morgan Rightful King is marrying Olivia to Chrom, but that's really no different than marrying Chrom directly as Olivia has a net gain of 0 anyway. Marry Chrom is the only way a female avatar can affect 2 children giving them the ideal skillset through giving them all the classes so there's that too. You can make an overkill Morgan by marrying Yarne as a Female Avatar, but 2 super units > 1 invincible unit IMO. Donnel is pointless to marry he gives luck when you marry him which is pretty useless. Lissa x Donnel isn't a particularly good pairing so marrying the resulting Owain won't be particularly good for you. You'd be better off marrying Donnel to Nowi or Sully to get Kjelle or Nah Galeforce, Kjelle gets the award for the worst genes ever, but Nowi has a good alternative husband with Kellam for a defensive Nah. Lissa is better off marrying Libra/Vaike/Henry, besides that with all 3 options you get a blondish Owain which is my personal favorite. The father support may be the same barring personal idiosyncrasies of the father, but it's somehow so much funnier if Vaike is the father. Vaike's hair color is the hair color of the official art if that interests you.

If you're wanting to keep them in their native class-line which many do, some children aren't that great. Some children don't really care about skills and prefer stats for example if you're trying to make a super Morgan you want the father/mother to have the stats so you can augment them in such a way you can end up with +10 in the desired stat on Morgan doing so often sacrifices some skills and the father as a 'good' unit by itself.

Although I didn't get all the units I wanted at maxed stats with Limit Breaker, I still tried Apotheosis anyway. Lost. I got up to the third area, and could have gotten farther. My main unit (paired with waifu Cordelia) did not have full health and lost against one of the enemies. It wouldn't have mattered if my other units had maxed stats, because he and Cordelia have maxed stats. I'll level up my other units and try it again sometime.

Apoth is less about completely max stats and more about strategy. Skills and and Strategy can make up for the lack of maximum stats. Your rally units and Olivia obviously don't have to worry about maximum stats at all and solid rescue support can allow you to spread out the usable units you do have allowing you to reduce the amount you actually 'need'. In some instances if you plan our your supports you can even pass around a single supporting unit to 2 or 3 units and cut down that way.

So I'm playin' through Fire Emblem 9 and the Path of Radiance for like, the millionth time 'cause it is one of my faves and all, REALLY good game.

Just wanted to ask peoples' opinions; what units should I use this playthrough and what Supports to go with 'em? I'd love to try some ones I've never read before, like Brom's. Any suggestions?

y'know,if there's something you won't notice until you do Geromes paraloge,it's probably one of these:
how many ariel units you don't have
how badly you want to be able to pass enemy units
how galeforce is much better than you thought it was for land units(see above)
how you have 5-9 good units and the rest are underleveled/not used
how great that killing edge that you just got for that weaker unit but is still useble
how jerkish the game can be with fortressess(seriously, they are on the polar opisite side)
    what falchoin is strong against
i'm guilty of everyone one of these, sue me

If you keep your units in their native class lines that'd fix your arial problem.

Kill and Galeforce through them instead.

Galeforce is pretty much the best skill in the game, I believe in the post about Donnel I mentioned how important it is or atleast indirectly by suggesting you change the pairings to get more children with Galeforce.

You only need 1 good unit to beat the game, but through the course of the game they give you some perfectly viable units even for Lunatic and provided you don't constantly use max exp units you get quite a few units you can viable use as secondaries before you can start buying Second Seals. As you go along you get units you can use one their recruitment levels if your army was becoming lopsided. Frederick is obvious at the start and can be used throughout the entire game without even re-classing granted on anything above normal he'd be relegated to a partner unit, but being an advanced class he can give better stat boosts than most in an army that is over-centralized. Among others you have Kellam, Maribelle, Nowi, Gregor, Libra, Anna, Panne, Cherche, Henry, Say'ri, Basilio, and Flavia so they give you ample opportunity to correct your army you just have to take it and that doesn't even mention those who join between chapters. Chances are the children characters if you unlock them anywhere near chapter 13 where the levels first appear it means the parents have seen moderate use and thus the children will be viable.

Killing Edge is alright, but relying on the RNG is not the best idea when it's easier to siphon exp for the units that can somewhat fight already.

You don't need to mess with the Forts or even terrain if you have proper units, so that's not really a big deal.

Falchion the normal one even when it's effective is usually weaker than other weapons especially since you can forge, even things like Steel Swords tend to be better. Parallel Falchion is a bit better, but not anything really amazing it's just convenient since it doesn't break. The Exalted Falchion is pretty solid, but still loses out to the Brave Weapons given how ridiculously overpowered they are making pretty much everything else even the Regalia/Timeless weapons pointless. As for the weaknesses it shows you exactly what things are strong against.

so something has been bothering me for a while.I'm looking at some offical artwork because i had some downtime, and started to notice a trend, the less of a serious personality a female has, more skin is typically shown, the only true expetion to this is Lissa(this is who i've recruited so far,so feel free to correct me).Take Sumia for example, klutzy, has a level of seriousness, some skin showing on the thighs.Cherche, likes to baby Minerva,as seen in Geromes Paralouge, has skin exposed on the back(which i wouldn't feel safe in.period, even if i did ride on a wyvern). And then there's Nowi,i can't tell what covers more, her boots or her acual clothing...yeah,although i guess you can exept her from this because she has the ability to turn into a dragon.i really hope i'm not alone on this.

Female typically = smaller frame, smaller frame = less armor to maintain mobility .'. there is a practical reason females have less armor. It's been that way in pretty much every game, every movie, and 'somewhat' in real life less with revealing clothing, but armor designed for a female is still smaller. The form fitting breast plates are always going to be unrealistic as that would direct blows to the sternum and get the wearer killed so it's pure aesthetics for game and movie reasons, but you're reading way to much into it IMO.

As for Fire Emblem specifically they're stereotypical personality types taken from animes especially apparent with Severa and the typical tsundere type.

Lissa and Nowi both have an evident carefree-ish personality then you have Inigo and Owain on the guy's side. The fem avatar is pretty nonchalant about things too.

As for how much skin they show it's a T rated game and men and aren't women obviously. Video games are still considered a 'guy' thing and the norm is for a certain amount of sex-appeal in pretty much everything. If you want to sell a cologne for example you're using women fawning all over a guy that's wearing it and chances are those women aren't exactly conservatively dressed. You get far more skin shown at a swimming pool or a beach by women these days so it's not really worth mentioning that a little leg is shown here or there as long as they're covered enough to keep it out of M rated comment it's hardly worth mentioning really unless you're Amish (which you wouldn't be playing it prolly) or live in Pakistan/Afghanistan etc where such things wouldn't be socially acceptable. Besides the game isn't set in 'our' world so even though they use swords, spears and such there is no rule that their views were the same as the views of those in medieval times where the women would have been conservatively dressed especially since women in the army back then would be near unheard of in most cultures anyway so it already has that strike against it. That said Sully and Stahl share pretty much the same armor, the female sages are all pretty well covered, Kjelle has similar armor to a normal knight, and Nowi and Panne aren't exactly human so who can comment on their own personal values to say whether Nowi is wearing something that would be deemed risque in her culture. As for Cherche specifically you've never seen a backless dress?

    Bottomline:
Every time you try to apply real world logic to an anime or a game a catgirl dies, but I'd imagine most females would appreciate lightening the load of the armor and thus wearing less than a guy would. Platemail was always worn back in the day because it was soo much better that heavy suit of armor didn't have any flaws at all. Platemail fell out of use because it was clunky, less armor means more mobility Vaike wears practically nothing and he's a guy the Berserker class has speed and damage but lacks defense and lacks the Armor on his sprite it's not a coincidence that the General in the bulky platemail is dirt slow.

If you have EXPonential growth then there's not really anything else worth-while.

Lost blood lines 3 is much better for leveling than exponential growth. The latter is more for early game/low level units. After awhile the exp tuckers out and the huge amount of relatively low level opponents+paragon make LB3 better for grinding. Although if youre just worried about grima and not any of the dlc, then exponential growth should help your low levels catch up fine I suppose.

The Festivals with the event tiles are an option as are any of the lost bloodlines as mentioned, but Gerome is actually Robin not Batman. Some of his lines are actually rips from from comics and the Teen Titan show all Robin, plus the mask is more akin to Nightwing than it is Batman's cowl. *Just for clarification it's Dick Grayson specifically*

It's worth adding that the villages can give the stat boost items and Lost Bloodlines has 2, that can help towards maxing units after you get all the skills you want more than gaining levels as some of the growth rates are abysmal in some areas usually Str and Def on Magic units and Mag and Res on Physical units, even if they don't have a Phys or Magic attack persay it's still a good idea to get them to 30 if you're pairing them with a unit that can attack with the opposite stat to maximize standalone potential of pairings. If he's just worried about the main game then you don't even need any of the DLC you just need to level your Avatar and it's partner possibly Chrom and Lucina if you want to make your life a bit easier.

I know. I'm so used to just plowing through with my high stats units, but it's a little different with Apotheosis.

I still want to get some units to maxed stats because I can, and it will be useful in general.

The entire game is meant to be a Turn-based strategy game, using Limitbreaker to just be better than everybody else then getting used to it is kind of against the spirit of the game.

You don't even need to factor Limit Breaker into the equation. The Apotheosis maps are just much more difficult than everything else.
