    I like the choice of units; similar to me, but different in some respects. I used Percival over Lance, which was a bad idea since Percival's stats didn't increase much. Maybe my luck? I had Rutger, Shin, and Zeiss(yay, hard mode bonuses!), as well as Dieck, Ellen, Lugh, Ray, Klein, Sue, and Dorothy. Wyverns make up a large part of FE6 enemy reinforcements, hence the use of bow users like Klein. Thany's great, but on hard mode, I'd assume Tate turns out better thanks to FE6's insane hard mode bonuses, but I wouldn't exactly know.

    I'll admit, I never considered using Merlinus as bait. Sounds like a good idea. As for Chad...if only he could promote...

    So, what do you guys think of the Double system in FE13?

    Ehhh... Rescue is useful but stat bonuses are OP. Unless this game is harder than normal.

    Balance? Since when have the games that had a world map been balanced?

    Edit: Based on what can be seen here, it appears that when you enter a battle with a teammate, you get set boosts to certain stats. Thoughts?

    You guys are so behind on news : p The 'rescue' function does the same thing. (battle w/teammate+stat boosts)

    The skill boosts are also affected by supports. From the current info we're getting FE9 style supports, too.

    If I remember, rescuing slowed your unit down, which makes you hit a single time...or just let the enemy attack twice.

    Resucue did that in FE5-10

    In this game Rescuing boosts stats, and has no drawbacks. I think it may be between supported characters only. Or it boosts supports faster. Serenes is kinda unsure.

    No, this isn't rescuing and standard rescuing still exists. This combination attack is activated by the "rescued" unit, and they gain the movement and stat bonuses of the unit that would rescue them.

    So where has normal rescuing been confirmed? I really haven't seen anything on it.

    You don't know how happy I am to see this. I can't even begin to explain...

    As for the Rescue feature, it may appear overpowered/unfair, but we've had some powerful strategies before. Warping generals into enemy territory in SD comes to my mind now, though I guess it's not quite as OP as this rescue feature is sounding.

    In that three minute video, I believe. Nobody's talking about it because it's a given that it's back, since activating the double system is performed differently.

    where in the video? Can I have a time?

    I just asked on the forums and they said rescue probably isn't going to happen due to the con stat being gone, and that there has been no indication of it. And that's on serenes, they pay attention to every little thing.

    I'm assuming since FE new mystery got rid of rescue and weapon weight, con was irrelevant. (Those were the only thing it really affected)


    All right, Vincent (Serenes forest Admin) cleared it up for me.

    Not to be confused with the Dual system, which is support activated.

    Well, if serenes predicts that double system is rescue, then I'll consider it. I'm not going to ponder it though. I can deal with that decision later.
