I'm pretty sure they hadn't planned on the 'bonds' or 'FoD' when they were making the 'Talisman' series. So we could definitely get more, since the DLC is obviously selling.

That pretty much answered my question. I guess they will continue until there is waning popularity with the games.

Is there any chance of another DLC character? I made a small chart to see which DLC characters go with which spotpass content.

On the topic of Spotpass and DLC characters, I was wondering something. I've not kept up a whole lot with the upcoming game, so I've been confused for months as to how it works. Do you only get to recruit just one character per "pack", pre-determined, while everyone else is doomed to just be slaughtered at your leisure?

And a second question; I'll be getting Radiant Dawn in a couple months and would like to know whether Oliver is a viable team member. If not a good attacker, at least a passable healer? I know he's a joke character, but just curious. I have not been able to find any information on his capabilities once recruited.

Basically, yes. Many DLC mission has you fighting enemies that are characters in other games, though that doesn't apply to them all. And in the end, you can recruit one character per mission, though they are not usually part of the chapter itself.

He's definitely not an ideal fighter. That's what Laura and Micaiah are for, in terms of offensive Light Magic users. He's not a bad healer though. If you have no other healer, he's not a bad replacement, though he'll almost never be used in any chapter, unless you planned specifically to use him earlier. His growths are great for other games, but here, Rhys, Laura and most Arch Sages usually outclass him in terms of usefulness, healing and offense. Hard mode might change his usefulness, though for better or worse, I don't personally know.

Apart from the fact that its coming out next year? No, not really, unless I missed some big information. It's been mostly DLC stuff and other extras that have been revealed recently, along with a trailer revealing some translated names of characters (e.g. Krom to Chrom).

It's very impressive that the translation project is finally done. Too bad I have no access to this game. A shame, since I'd love to play it someday, but no use complaining. Those guys working on it all these years really deserve all the thanks they get, though.
