Still, they're like, what, $50 USD or so in made-up value, because of everyone hoarding them.

There's so many of the original hats that their price won't go up to Orbiting Earbills Max Heads. They definently will become more expensive though.

I personally found the Stash, Trophy Belt, and Pickelhaube to be really nice hats as well.

It's a darn shame to see the original 9 go, they're hats nobody really had a problem with

I didn't really have a problem with hats at first.

I mean, just having a few that fit nicely with the art style would have been perfect. People would have played the game and everything would have been good.

Now we have abortions like the XCOM hair and people spend more time buying hats than playing, and the game is a F2P shitshow with every goddamn server saying "YOU MAY CLOSE THE MOTD IN 10 SECONDS" or people abusing premium benefits.

I just want to play TF2 without people trying to add me to sell their virtual items or people flying around killing me with a headshot as a Scout.

Exactly, I haven't had anyone try and add me to trade (since I've barely played since this mess all started and I don't buy any of the game that Valve gives hats for) but a couple of my friends have. It's just ridiculous. TF2 is supposed to be a game, not a market.

Seems really unlikely, but Halo and Fez on Steam would be pretty awesome! Revelations was pretty much a given, but the rest I couldn't care less about. (Well Quantum Corundum 2 would be cool too I guess.
