Can anyone give me some advice on beating the mysterious figure with Aqua in Birth by Sleep?
I have already beaten him with Ventus, but it seems he just goes the extra mile to make it difficult when I use Aqua.

He's basically the same with Ven and Aqua. Just use the surges (I assume) like you did with Ven and use the same strategy.
This video here, apparently shows you how to make him easier. I don't know if it works, but it's worth a try.

Yep, and I've beaten him as Aqua and seen what he's like with the other two. I might try to beat him with Ven and Terra eventually.

Ven and Aqua have the same dodge speed though, so theoretically they should be the same. The whold battle is basically luck.

Thunder Surge is the main MF strategy for all characters. There is one other strategy I've seen raised for Aqua and Ven, though. It involves using ice cream to enter the Sky Climber command style, and then a second ice cream to charge the finisher, which apparently does pretty good damage against MF.

This morning i decided to give it another go and i won. Now i just have to beat him with terra....the slowest character in my opinion.

Just tried it, and i lost..I cant dodge the move where he gets you in the trap that you only have 5 seconds to get out of, the move where he sends out orbs that shoot beams, and the move where he jumps in the air and picks you up with his weapon.

MF is the only boss I can't beat.... I've come close to beating him but when I get to one bar and I'm in deep shizz, I get this instinct to D-Link with mickey.. Of course this makes him go invisible, but when I don't dlink I die....... Quite a conundrum....
oh and the ice cream thing works..... ive tried it and got close, but you'll need a lot of it

Basically, someone asked him what his favourite incarnation of Xehanort is, and he said the new one. Now unless he means Master or Terranort, this means we're getting a new Xehanort incarnation. What fun!
