Tested Shayminlover, first game he only selected 3 Pokemon. I battled him again and the match ended 6-0 in my favour, Petilil rank for him

Edit: beat Celestial Moth in 3 games. 6-0, 6-0 and 5-0.

    Pokemon of the week #8
Today's RNG gave me this pokemon.
    The Toxic Mouth pokemon,

Toxicroak, the Toxic Mouth pokemon, has a Poison/Fighting typing. Weak against Psychic, Ground, Flying, and Fire(somewhat). It is also immune to Toxic Spikes and Water(Dry Skin)
Offensive stats of 106/86/86 and Defensive stats of 83/65/65. To me, an average pokemon. Not good, but not entirely bad defensive stats. The only thing that stands out is its attacking stat of 106, enough for good use. It is also not a fast pokemon.
With Abilities of Anticipation, Dry skin, and it's DW ability, Poison Touch. The only ability you should use is Dry Skin. Anticipation and Poison Touch are just inferior options.
Attacking options of Drain Punch, Sucker Punch, Cross Chop, and Ice Punch are the only moves you should use. And with set up moves of Substitute, Swords Dance, and Bulk Up. It can go to a special route with Nasty Plot, Vaccum Wave, Dark Pulse, 86 base SpA? Just go Physical with him.
Counters/Checks are fast Special Attackers(Volcarona, Alakazam, be wary with Sucker Punch), Sun, Physical Walls, etc. But be wary, if you don't play right, Rain with SubBU, and add the fun with Sucker Punch, it gets very annoying to kill off, and very capable of sweeping your team.
One thing, and one thing only, it is VERY RELIANT on Rain. Best way is to take out Politoed and have a weather inducer.
It is somewhat low in the usage due to be very reliant on rain, medicore stats, but is capable of doing lots of work if used correctly.

I forgot to tell you is that I'm pretty sure you need both PO/PS and Wifi, lol.
You also need to get tested by Garnet if you're good to go, unless he knows you can handle it.

Well i got PO and wifi , though i dont like using PO or PS cause their rather inaccurate and they embelesh what the pokemon are actually capable of.

Aw yeah man its all good garnets got my back

    Not all Bug types sucks.
Scizor: Neutral to rocks, one of the best Physical Attackers
Volcarona: Amazing secodary typing, great in sun.
    Venomoth: Baton Pass Quiver Dances
    Galvantula: Fast, good offensive presence
Yanmega: Speed Boost really helps it
    Heracross: Same as Scizor

That's all I could think of
Bugceus and Genesect doesn't count since they are in Ubers.

Just look at other bug types...
Foretress: One of the best hazard setters
Durant:Great ability, nice speed. Can outspeed non-scarf Terrakion

still, if they are hit by something super effective, its most likely a KO

Ill take it from here drastic :P

Heracross gets moxie, that with choice scarf can be fun.
Volbeat with prankster, tail glow baton pass
Caterpie , is well, self explanitory

Forretress makes a nice bomb, not to mention block can hold pokemon in so that i can incopaciate with multiple stat/condion moves power up on and then sweep entire teams. with the right situation of cause.

Not to mention Masquerain with a choice scarf using hydro pump takes out alot of the bugs weeknesses

Dwebble ust drops most things it encounters.

    Shuckle just sucks.. hehehe

    Also bugs rule =.=
further more... I challange you to a pokemon battle kyle ,':]

I agree with drastic, some bug types are really good. Mainly scizor and volcanorona for me though.

Not really. Nearly all the ones Phase listed have 4x weaknesses, which of course would be a likely one hit faint. But most of them also have few weaknesses as a trade off (Scizor and Foretress only being weak to Fire I believe) If you mean a super effective STAB attack, then it will likely faint, but no STAB? "It's Super Effective!" is not not always a game changer. I'm pretty sure most pokemon can take one, maybe two, non STAB attacks with no buffs.

You can't expect Scizor, Durant, Forretress to live a fire attack?
You can't expect Volcarona and Yanmega to live a rock move?
Do you expect Blissey to survive a CC from Terrakion?
Terrakion survive a BP from Terrakion?
    Alakazam with a SE hit?

Every pokemon has weaknesses. Yes, Bug types WERE weak, but when generations come, they got better.
Scizor and Volcarona for example. By far one of the best bug types in OU.

    Actually, Shuckle can be good.
Contrary Shell Smash Shuckle with Power Split, or somethig like that.

Scizor, Forry, and Durant only has Fire weakness Myrrh.

Tested Flyinggurtboy 3-0 in my favour. He really tested my team and made some good predictions. At a few points in that match I thought you had me, GG
    Leafeon rank

Tested Kyle, 4-0 in my favour, I'm going to place him in Petilil.
