Ghost has excellent coverage, but Ghost/Grass can be used as well. Wood Hammer gets you into Leichi Range with a potential +2 the first turn... Trick Room DBond is fun.
Oh look, that's my set, lol.

You could also try the SubCurse set that Yellow nominated in the CCAT.

However, I am going to use TR, but on another Pokémon.
He has a really bad move pool and the set capitalizes around dbond+Trick Room, so I don't know how well it will work when it gives it up.

    * Voting for baton pass team.

Absol can work great one since it has Magic bounce.

I think we should make a Bulky Offensive Team. Bulky Offensive is pretty effective in this metagame and lets us counter a wide variety threats while maintaining offensive pressure. Its also really fun to play!

Bulky Offense because Absol lures in walls like Lando-T and Gliscor and eliminates them. It walls Skarm and threatens with Fire Blast. Really it is perfect for dragons that love a Bulky Offensive style such as Dnite and Kyurem-B.

Thirdsies. Mixed sets just generally work well in bulky offense imo it also means blissey is a possibility! Bulky Offense

Currently working on a Baton Pass team, but after looking at certain attackers, they're rather bulky.
Bulky Offense gets my vote only because that's the trend this gen's metagame and special attacks have been nerfed and special offense is dead.
    Looking for:

I'm voting for Bulky Offense. Baton Pass may sound good and all, but in order for Absol to stop roar/whirlwind, it'll have to be mega evolved before the attack is used. Not to mention it's frail defenses.

The last thing you want is bad HP. Scrap it, it's possible to get much better.

What do people think of this?

    Mega Pinsir
    Jolly/Adamant
    31/31/31/31/31/31
    Thrash/Swords Dance/Earthquake/Close Combat

With it's massive attack (449) and high Defense (379) and it's ability boosting Thrash to 160 and turning it into Flying type, getting a STAB boost on top, would it be any good? I only see Absol, Gyarados, Lucario and TTar builds most of the time.

    Abilities: Aerilate
Aerilate: Increases the power of Normal-type moves by 30%. It then changes those moves to Flying-type.

Most people use Return, but Thrash seems like a very interesting option. You have to remove all ghost/steel/rock types, making it a bit more difficult then Outrage SPAM, but I think it seems viable enough.

Quick Attack is also very popular on Pinser. It makes it very difficult to revenge kill.

Earthquake takes care of Steel, Rock and Electric, Thrash can bust right through Ghost even without the SE, while Close Combat can take care of Ice (and Rock/Steel). Only thing left on weakness is Flying, but with it's sheer strength Trash should have no problem. I guess it's counters would be Landorus and Mega Aerodactyl mostly, but that's not much. Stone Edge is also possible instead of Close Combat, and Return would have 102 power at max? If so, that's viable instead yeah, since Thrash still gives the confuse.

    What about a 656 attack Medicham ?

So, I was in an Online Battle a few hours ago, and I actually managed to take out a Greninja! I feel so proud.
I ended up losing pretty harsh though.. but hey!

Good job! Greninja's pretty horrible to outspeed. But if you predict well, you'll come out on top!
    Once again, congrats!
I, myself, countered a Protean Greninja that had used Extrasensory with a Shadow Sneak from Doublade. Felt so good.

Didn't outspeed it either. Got a Critical hit on my Gardevoirs Magical Leaf. (I didn't use a good team....)
Ahahah, sounds very good indeed! Planning on using Extrasensory over Dark Pulse on my own Protean Greninja, actually. I already have so. Many. Dark-Types

I dont even bother the speed tiers with Greninja, he is just to friccan fast.

I usually have an Choice scarfer in my team that can Surprise outspeed him and kill it in one hit.

I do agree on the fact that it feels statisfying killing Greninja mainly due its just an Top Threat.

Haven't played against many, but they completely destroy my stall team... I only have Vappy to stand up to it and if it has Grass Knot or HP[electric], mind doomed. Not like Vappy is doing Mich anyway though.
