pretty good scizor.
Can someone help me? Im just a n00b spriter, and i want to make a rock-retype vanilluxe.
It can stick around because of these new rules.
@:::...Scizor...::: As long as you don't edit the first post unless you have some important reason to, your Lugia stall stay alive~ \o/ Oh and welcome to SPPF where breaking a rule equals the same pain as being electrocuted! (well not really but it hurts inside ): ) Great rainbow animation though! The dark colors go well with black indeed. How do you guys even get to make sprites all rainbow-animated?!
@lucarioisawesome Use shades of brown (mostly the dark ones), dark orange or gray to give it that rocky look, lol. You may also change the white slush to some rough and rocky body. You're not a noob spriter, just need a bigger imagination!
@Sweet May: Thanks for welcoming me, I should stick around for a while. To make shades change, I had to recolor the Tentacruel a lot of times for each shade of red blue and green and the in-betweens.
@lucarioisawesome: For a rock type Vanilluxe, all it takes is imagination. Practice makes perfect, so first look at how rocks are shaded, and then take that into account to create rocks in scratch form. Here is a good tutorial on shading.[/url]
[link] That's a good tutorial, and so is the one below it. It'll teach you the basics of scratch spriting and shading, and there are some more tutorials if you scroll further up the page.
The Reshiram Userbar is by the amazingly talented -Sarah.
3rd place spriter of the year...
Here is my first rainbow pokemon (Also my first revamp):

It looks pretty good, but always remember to color everything correctly(The arms look out of place)

Consider this your first strike, as you must read the rules where it states you can only post one sprite per page.
As for the fusion itself, as PokeHunter said, the color palette needs work. Besides that, it just looks more like copy and pasting parts. Perhaps you should've recolored Registeel and the arms to Duskull colors. The mask just looks awkward there... xD
On the topic of rainbow animated sprites, I tried out a hueshift type animation. I heard Jasc Animation Shop takes less than one step to make images all rainbow-y but lacking the program, I'm stuck with ImageReady. XP Uh what do you guys think?
[edit] Jesus I won't punish you this time cuz this post is late.
That looks pretty good, but the transition from blue to purple looks a little odd. Also, try to make it fade back into the original color, as right now it seems odd when it returns to the begining of the animation.

I've always thought, since he was released, that Samurott would be so much better on two legs. It's taken a while for me to start this, I've completed a repose for Samurott.
This is my first scratch repose. My scratching has often left something to be desired, mostly due to my lack of shading ability. However, I'm hoping this will be better received.

That looks really good, better than my scratching, but why is he holding the thing that is usually on his back? Thats all that confuses me. Other than that it is a great sprite.

People say Clefable and Gengar are complete opposites...

It's usually of his head, not his back. And on Oshawott/Dewott/Samurott, all of their shells are detachable. That big one on his head is like a massive club in the form of a conch shell.
@Proby3 For a first 100% scratch repose, it is very impressive. The idea is very creative. Though the position of the right leg should be shorter. The muzzle seems disordered in comparision to its face. The eyes are too narrow and the head should be smoothen. The right side of the moustache should be nearer to the nose and the left should be a tad higher. My sincere apologies if I was too harsh.
I need help with a custom trainer sprite. Currently it's a work in progess, I sincerly hope it does not violate the rules.
It's a custom trainer sprite of this. http://fav.me/d3k5lah
I'm having difficulties with the scarf, the jacket and the boots. The character is meant to be floating. Both the scarf and jacket are meant flow out, but it is a lot harder than I had expected. As for the boots the upper parts do not turn out the way I had expected.
Guidelines would be highly appreciated.

I know it's not finished, but I'm going to treat it as if it were. Just because I have trouble getting myself in the right mindset.
Put a little more shading on the scarf. It just looks like a flat color from what I can see. (in fact, once I examined it, I see that it actually is just a flat color) Other than that, the pants and boots are the same color. Make the boots more brown instead of puke green color. Also, once you're done with the outline on the pants, make sure you make it the right color according to the light source. The pants also need some shading toward the shadow, and the fact that you even included a shadow indicates that there is a strong light source. Make sure you emphasize that.
Now, here's a piece of art by me. Made this, but never entered it in the contest I did it for:
C&Cs would be appreciated. Just a simple recolor, but I really like how it turned out.
I'm sorry, were you expecting some kind of epic signature here?

A Modern Atlantis- Bioshock/Doctor Who crossover (FINALLY WRITING CHAPTER 3! Will post soon!)
-When a perfectly mundane trip to the ocean floor causes the Doctor and his companions to discover an underwater city, they find a utopia that is anything but. (Rated PG-14 for language and violence)
@Gelatino That looks really good. I can't really find anything wrong with it. Did you post this on the GAC too, because I remember seeing it before?

Northern Light, that is really good. the only thing i would like to point out is that i think you need some shading on the pants, and that the shadow doesnt look like its coming from the guy. other then that its great.

It's a pretty good re-type, but I'd like to see more scratching. Like maybe the smoke. Instead of CPing from Torkoal (and I could be wrong), maybe scratch it?
Anyway, glad to see this thread, because I can never keep up a gallery. But here's my latest. Garbodor/Reuniclus fusion.
C+C? I know there's like no shading but that's how Garbodor's bag cloak and Reuniclus' body are; there's literally like no shading almost besides teh outlines. That's what i liked about this cuz I hate shading :P
