Did you try catching the dead marowak?

I tried continously for about 10 Pokeballs, cause I didn't quite understand why I couldn't catch it.

I remembered going back to the pokemart to stock up on pokeballs to catch him and determined I was ....guess you know how that ended lol

Yes I tried to catch it. I think over 80% of people who have played the first gen games tried to.

First time I played through I found it weaked it with one of my lower leveled Pokemon then attempted to capture it but it failed, I could of easily taken it out with a different Pokemon if I new I could not catch it

I think I threw about 50 Pokeballs at it. I do remember screaming at the game because Cubone's mom wouldn't accept my balls

Yes I did. I thought I caught it one time so every other time I restarted the game I would try and catch him only to realist in ire red leaf green that I couldn't

I tried too catch it on my first attempt since it would have been a great addition to my team (mainly because it was strong) but when it didn't work I gave up and just KO'ed it.

I actually didn't know it wasn't able to be caught until about my third play through of the game. Granted I was around 6 at this time...

I never tried to catch the Marowak when I was younger, though I tried to during my latest playthrough of FireRed. I tried one pokeball and gave up. I knew it wouldn't work.
