    I actually didn't know it wasn't able to be caught until about my third play through of the game. Granted I was around 6 at this time...

    I never tried to catch the Marowak when I was younger, though I tried to during my latest playthrough of FireRed. I tried one pokeball and gave up. I knew it wouldn't work.

    I don't use "uber" Pokemon, I don't calculate stat values, I don't use cheating devices, I don't breed my way to perfection, and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are, and treat them like individuals instead of brainless drones. If you use this philosophy, copy & paste this into your signature. (Started by Tyranitar)

    I remain convinced that one time I did catch the Marowak and recall teaching it Fire Blast. Chances are that I didn't though.

    Hi i'm looking for a mew and ready to trade basically anything except a Keldeo, if you have a mew i could even train a certain pokemon to a certain level with certain ev's and nature if you want, sorry i can't do ivs though cause I don't know how they work.

    Yeah I did try and I don't know why, probably because I hadn't been thinking, I used every type of ball I had and it said something like it can't be caught, I'm so naive : P
