I like all of them, specially Roark and Gardenia :3

Aside from Volkner, of course; His personality is meh and his team was easy to beat.

I really liked the mechanics of Wake's gym, I also liked his design a lot, but my vote goes to Candice as she has the same good things as Wake but I like her better.

Volkner since he was actually a challenge, unlike some of the other Gym Leaders in these games imo.

Sinnoh had the easiest gyms in my opinion. Volkner was an interesting character (and I liked his DP team), so he's my favorite.

Candice is the best-looking out of all the Sinnoh leaders, but her gym is a pain to get through, altho my Infernape can run rough shot over her and her gym trainers.

Wake is a luchadore, which is way cool, but he's fat and kinda old, which isn't. His gym is highly unique, though, but easy to clear once you've repeated the pattern enough times. Roserade blows his gym outta the water, except for his Gyarados. Had to teach Monferno Thunderpunch and spam potions to deal with him.

Volkner strikes me as kinda snooty and pretentious at first, but he's much cooler once you beat him. Gabite/Garchomp obliterates his gym, and the traps aren't hard to figure out.

Fantina's only tough if you're not prepared for her, and she's much easier in Platinum, despite her gym being more complex in exchange. I don't find her appealing though, she looks old.

I personally think volkner was the best since he was sheer epicness. I hated his gym layout though!

Fantina was the most evil trainer ever... I didn't understand why none of my moves (Normal type) were working, and all I had was Grass knot (On my Turtwig) to even DAMAGE with.. .__.

Now that I understand types and all, though...
Volkner was really really easy though, I don't understand why you guys had trouble. Maybe cause you didn't pick Turtwig. :P
