Wahahaha. Really? REALLY? One of these? It's been a long time. A really long time, since I've seen an RP that I actually have to use brains to make eet's sign-up. All the other RPs seem to have died off, and I have completely no idea what to post in them to revive them. Derp. Let's see now...
W-Wait. Fantasy races, no Aliens, obviously, hmm, must inhabit, or live in Crownen? Whutwhut. So many choices, what to choose, should I go for OP? Should I go for mediocre? Should I make a terribad sign-up and edit it in a day to make it better, and edit it more the day after to make it awesome and long, just like how a wall of text should be?
Oh, the unparalleled choices that float through my head. What to be, what to be?
Also, I'm trying to get my character to come from Avalon, so for the first time in History, I'm spending time to make my character.
Name: Az'ornargh'yur(Azz-Urn-Narg-Gore-Ur), Or, Alurmi
Race: Primordial Essence(Elemental, or to be more precise, Elemental-like Being)
Elementals, are, well, Elementals. Souls of their, well, elements! Such vague descriptions...
The elementals are potent and volatile elemental spirits of pure elemental energies, emerging from the primordial ooze of the world to safeguard a certain area with potent magical energies, or locked away in another, astral realm for wizards to summon. Elementals are basically the core of the entire world, from shaping the way grass grows, to how beings are created. But of course, Elementals themselves do not have the creation-capabilities of those who had formed it all...
They are just figureheads of sorts, guardians, nothing more, with great energy and power, nevertheless, but without the authority, or that massive payload of godlike, celestial, pulsating energy to make other, more sophisticated living creatures. There are many types of Elementals, but the lowest of them all are just mindless creations of their specific element, slipping through the cracks of the other, astral plane, called the Elemental Realm, to access the world here.
The more, middle-class elementals, are atleast stronger then the average elf, and can formulate thoughts. However, they are unable to speak, or understand complex infomation. Finally, the most powerful ones, some are just corrupted by their everlasting power, while others, are peaceful beings that guard their sacred homelands and places within this world. Among this class, there are two different lines that never converge. First, leads to the Elemental Lords. They're basically the "gods" of the elementals in some sense, with power unimaginable, they give commands to every other elemental that follows that specific element. Aside of that, the second line, is where the Primordial Elementals are. The Primordials are not as strong as the Lords, no, not by a long shot. They are just as powerful, as a high-class elemental who is able to speak, and act on it's own, becoming just like how a human, or other, civilized member of a race would.
The thing is, it's not their power levels that grant them, or place them in, one of the highest places in the Elemental line. It is their specific links to essensially, instead of focusing on common elements like fire and air, focus on unique aspects of nature like the night and poison. While normal Elementals focus on the most basic, or congregated elements of the world, Primordial Elementals have the aspects of things like Sound, Thought, Spirit, Mana, Life, Death. No, Darkness Elementals and Death Elementals are completely different.
And what Alurmi's aspect is, is Crystal. Crystal and Chaos.
Appearance: As a Primordial Essence, Alurmi is allowed to have Three additional forms along with her normal self. Her three forms are as called: Mortal, Primortal, Chaotic.
In his main, Primortal form, her Primordial powers have control over her appearance, so she appears as having swirling, yellow energies for feet, suspending her upper body in the air, along with numerous yellow crystals that connect her with this constantly twisting vortex she has bellow. Her main body, or torso, wields an old, almost rusty-looking chest-plate that is encased in a spinning, black circle, within a shell of just one block of yellow crystal. There seems to be something like a collar around her neck, followed by a large, elongated(sideways) blade skull. The skull has numerous, sharp, bone-like teeth and a scar on the left eye socket. Within that skull, is only a blue glow, that suspends it in a multitude of crystals. Almost as if the crystals are hollow. The teeth and everything the skull has, is as black as the night. Her arms are thick and covered with more yellow crystals, with visible hands with three fingers and a thumb. There seems to be liquid flowing inside the crystals that connect her arms to her body.
She's a hulking, well, not really, just larger then most higher-end elementals, about 8 feet tall.
In her mortal form, she is a woman, about five feet tall and 4 inches, tall, with an unknown weight, although she appears skinny, she's heavier then she looks. With long, flowing blonde hair, and long, but not too long, pointed ears, looking more like an elf then a human. With high cheek bones and a pointed fringe. Atop her heads, instead of crystal, are a small pair of yellow horns that curve to the back. They're not really visible from afar, because of her blonde hair, but upon closer inspection, seem to have some runes on them, and the tips of the horns are quite noticable if you stand next to her. She has somewhat small eyes, with golden-surrounding black pupils, and beautiful lips. She has a scar across her cheek, facing southright(eastwestIDK.)
Alurmi has a weird skin colour, a dark, peachy colour with a hint of red. She has a moderate bust size too, so that eliminates the factor of having an uncommon skin coloration. Finally, she choice of clothing is sort of revealing... First, she has red, gold-trimmed gauntlets and boots, well, not really boots, more like greaves, or something, well, they reach up almost to her waist. All metallic and shiny, and they exactly fit her body. The boots have runes of them, and so do the gauntlets. Each rune represents a role she has played in the times long ago. Her gauntlets also have spiked fingers and a pink gem on the backhand. She has a red pendent that she wears across her neck, and not even she touches it. It has the shape of that collar she has on her Primortal form, only that this time, it has another pink gem on it. Her more, private spots are covered with armored, red, trimmed gold plates, one appears to be cut out from a breastplate, while the other, follows up(Not attached to) from her greaves, to go around her waist.
Finally, her Chaotic form, the most easiest to describe. It's a anifestation of hatred, combined with the sins of all living creations. It's form is a medium-sized, ball of black energy, surrounded by tentacles. It's blob-like body crawls along the ground like a slug, and in it's middle, is a long neck, that holds a sharp, pointed head, which can rip into two to reveal her mouth, filled with many black teeth. Stream-lined, red, glowing eyes surround her head, and it's covered by a green, demonic skull. She can't access this form whenever she wants to. She has to be at death to appear like this. Also, she has no control over herself. While in this form, she automatically spreads a black substance which covers all matter in the area on the ground as it slowly expands.
Personality: Alurmi is quite an enigmatic person, not really willing to talk much, or reveal much, unless you probe her enough, or get her mad, as she doesn't really think before she does things. However, at times when she does think, she thinks for a really long time, and the plans she can formulate after that train of thought are really, quite spectacular. If anyone is suited for the role of "mastermind" it's Alurmi, and she often has a great deal of insight and understanding about whatever happens in the world, and possesses considerable intellectual prowess, as well. After living for such a long time, she has lost track of her age, and just says it as "Infinite", she can actually die, by the sword or magic, or poor living conditions, just like how a mortal would. But, she has been able to take care of herself over the past few, god knows how long. Currently, after getting intelligence and wisdom from the ages she has lived through, Alurmi sleeps most of the time, living currently for the enjoyment of life, not really caring much about the "outside world", or, as she considers, the towns and villages of sorts, any sophisticated(in fantasy times, like castles and crap) lands.
Alurmi usually doesn't abuse her power, and overestimates opponents, however, after finding them, weaker then she would expect, she has a tendency to toy with her opponents rather than use her full power from the that moment. If her opponent matches her skill, she will use her full power, even though it's not alot, for as I've stated, she isn't godlike powerful, but just about the same as a higher-class Elemental. Though she seems flaky and unreliable most of the time, when the safety or security of any being, is at stake, she won't hesitate to get involved, even if it means using others to do the work for her. She could easily be either a villain or a heroine, depending on her whims too.
History: Alurmi has been here, for a long, long time. Not as long as to participate in the creation of Crownen, but to have lived long enough to see the entire continent/world of Crownen. She could just be about 17~<3 years old! I mean, uhh, well, even she lost count herself, so how would she know?
Alurmi had traveled the world, far and wide, but never outside of Crownen, she would never, ever leave the place where she was created, unless it was really required with some, godlike, urgent matter. She was born just like how an elemental would be, emerging from a speck of pure, clean energy of a soul, before taking form, reaching out to the nearest elements near her. But, she was not formed on Crownen. She was formed somewhere else, somewhere in Crownen, but yet, not, a parallel universe if you would, or so called; The Grand Void. The tiny crack where the land where Elementals live and this world merge. She was born there, and after taking in the two ingredients for life in herself, she would be thrust out, into Crownen. Where exactly? Who knows?
She had first arrived in the mountains, somewhere on the Sentinel Mountains, and she began to grow, adapt, evolve. With the two, special, primordial elements inside of her, she became, an essence. A Primordial essence. Within days, she was granted the ability to think, the ability to speak, to know, to want, a personality, everything a mortal would have. For the first few years of her life, Alurmi had trained herself in her Primortal form, with a small piece of rock, shaped like a dagger, slowly being able to consume food, she began hunting for game in the mountains, unknowningly, heading down, further and further. During this time, there were few elves, not enough to cover the land, not enough to have their patrols. Alurmi ventured into elven lands, finding a safe spot, one that would guarantee her a dark, secluded spot, away from the eyes of every other living creature. Finally, after weeks of searching, she found a cave. It was no ordinary cave. It was unmarked. Unknown. No one had ventured here. She took it.
As she slowly grew over the years, the gained the ability, that could only be used once. To go back to where she once came. Of course, she had ventured out of this deep cave that she called her home, travelling across the "wing" of Crownen, spying on elves and others alike, slowly growing a fond love for this land. She used that ability, but for a different reason, to retrieve something. Anything! Her growing body size was now too big to be able to hide in the bushes and ambush game like small rabbits and deer. With that thought in mind, Alurmi, in her primortal form, stepped into a deep slumber, concentrating, on getting what she needed to survive. She slept this way, her energies concentrating in her body, around her, growing, growing, and she awoke, after years and years of who knows how long. By this time, the elves have finished defeating the invading Sakh, and many other things, unknown to her, had happened. But finally, she had what she wanted. Enough energy.
Alurmi looked up to the celling of the cave, and imagined a desolate landscape, followed by one of swirling energy, one with every kind of terrain possible... A rip tore itself through the celling of the cave, and Alurmi released a ball of yellow energy in it, seeking something... Something of her homeland... Something, anything!
Fell from the rip, was surposed to be something like a lance, a spear, a sword, a knife! Anything, but what came out, was just a hilt. The rip closed instantly, and Alurmi's power receded, steadily growing lower. Just that one, simple-looking spell, cost so much of her energy. She had by now, imagined how she would look like to fit in with the other inhabitants of this land, taking the form of an elf, however, with some... uncharacteristic details. Taking up the sword hilt, she set her way towards the nearest elven city. As she approached one of them, she was stopped by the patrol, and questioned. They had never seen someone like her, so mysterious, so, weird-looking. Eventually, she managed to convince the elves that she was of no threat, and continued into the city. She had lived there for even more years to come, in a house given to her by one of the lords of the city, as she had come in not as a proud, arrogant elemental, but as a humble weird beggar.
Although her house was mediocre, it was considered a treasure to Alurmi. She slowly began to reform her body, to look more elegant, and eye-catching, and finally, came up with what she had now. With one cost. She could no longer change into any other form besides her original, and her mortal form. Even with that, Alurmi didn't mind. Anyway, there was peace in the land, and she would, if she could, help preserve it for the many millienia that would come.
After more years of staying within the elven city, Alurmi set out, having her reputation as the kindhearted-to-all-person secured, she went to explore the lands, this new home that she was destined to live in, she had to discover it. Discover it all...
(Wow, really, many years passed. Haha, she's old.)
Once again, for years, Alurmi had traveled the lands, discovering what she never knew, many creatures unimaginable, many mysterys, and happiness. Finally, there was only one place left to discover. She had heard a rumor that there was a sunken island. Once called Avalon. One, where there's always peace, happiness, prosperity, everything anyone would wish for. Alurmi just had to go there... Soon enough, she set off once again, to search for this sacred island, to end her quest in finding her place in the world. As she sailed on the forgotten waters, alone in the cold, in her heart, she just wanted to find this place, and to finish her own quest, and unknowningly, she did, passing through the barrier and landing on the shores of the island. Immediately, she set fire to her small ship of sorts, burning it into ashes, and snuck into the island.
What she saw, was unimaginable. And what she achieved, was peace in herself.
Forevermore till Nevermore, she had lived here in secret, unknown to the others here, in a secluded area near the shore, practicing her swordsplay and sleeping all the while, still not being able to use the sword hilt... And eventually, the last one that Ezra would come to, was her. She accepted the letter from the bird, before letting it go free. At long last, she had found her place in the world, but she knew she had to give up the peace she had, for in attempting this new journey of hers, she would have to leave it.
...Wait. Wait wait. She had to find someone in Avalon. Without getting caught. Well, this was an unexpected turn of events.
--(Derp, I kinda shortened the History a little. Make that alot. i actually thought of writing an even larger wall of text on this, but yeaah...)
Equipment: The weird sword hilt, coloured purple and has a green gem in the center of it. Eventually, Alurmi will be able to use it, forming a long, yellow saber with red runes, all made out of pure energy. When Alurmi finally manages to use the blade, it will change in her Primortal form, to become a double-bladed Scythe, where the blades are made of pure energy. Alurmi also wears a brown cloak to cover herself too.
Primortal Form: In this form, Alurmi's control over Crystal is instant, being able to form sharp, drill-shaped shards as quick-fire bullets, or something like a concentrated ball of Crystal Energy. Either way, in this form, her power is more, how would you say it... Condensed. Something like impaling a moderate area(About two metres) around her with Crystal is moderate in this form, while it takes much harder concentration in her Mortal form. With a major strength and speed boost at the cost of endurance, since the crystals that are around her more, skeletral-like body, are hollow, she's like a glass cannon. Her speed allows her to move considerably fast, but, because of her size, much easier to hit if timed properly.
Skills: Infinity Storm. By using her power of merging a little of Chaos with Crystal, Alurmi is able to release a tiny, pin-point beam, that encases the Enemy in Crystal, before a huge beam of black energy rips forth from her hand. Instant use, Only usuable once.
Paradoxal Revelation. Impales the ground around Alurmi in a circle, trapping opponents in a two-metre range. The crystals charge for three seconds, and can be broken if hit hard enough. After charging, they fire tiny waves of energy towards Alurmi, and in return, the beams ripple into devastating waves after hitting Alurmi.
Mortal Form: In this form, Alurmi is much more agile, with moderate endurance and strength. In this form, using her Crystal powers to create devastating effects requires time. Alot of time. Plus, she would have to be stationary. Although, in this form, she is able to draw energy from the surroundings... If there is a Crystal substance. Drawing energy from other crystals would allow her to use her skills quicker, and more deadlier. She can still form crystal shards at will in a moment's notice, though.
Skills: Scarlet Blades of Forethought. Two, short-sword sized blades of yellow energy emerge from Alurmi's wrists, allowing her to fight. They absorb energy from any nearby Crystals automatically. Requires 6 seconds to being stationary and concentrating.
Impulse Aurora. Forms a sphere in Alurmi's right hand, before she punches the air, forming a wide ring of pulsating, red energy, that pushes itself forward and expands towards the enemy. Requires 4 seconds of concentrating, 1 second of being stationary.
Evangelion. Alurmi's best move in her Mortal Form. Requires 10 seconds of being stationary and concentrating, also requires a nearby Crystal source. Alurmi's left hand is covered in yellow crystal, while her right is covered in white crystal. Ten instant hits with the left hand will form a Crystal within the victim, before it expands and shatters. Seven hits with the white crystal will paralyze the opponent. If both hit, Alurmi can release a blast of blue energy by using both of her hands. How this skill works is a mystery.
Chaotic Form: Slow, Extremely hard to kill, and powerful. The first thing that happens when Alurmi goes into this state, is unleash a wide, slow-growing black substance called "The Abyss". When standing on it, you do not take damage at all, but it ruins the landscape and constantly powers Alurmi. Holy power can dispell the Abyss permanently. Expands till about 50 feet. Looking into Alurmi's streamlined, red eyes, for long enough, will drive you insane. Unknown skills. Inability to talk.
Other: She likes cute animals. Hehe.
