My friends chose to go watch Hunger Games, and I typically have low expectations for films that bring out the hordes of teenage cult fans from their dimly-lit bedrooms. But it did have quite a lot of substance, although as a side point the 12A rating seems a little ambitious. "12" at the very least, I'd say. The promise shown by the film suggests to me that that the books will be worth reading at the very least, so I may well try them.
And yes, the Avengers looks incredible. The trailer is alright, but having seen Captain America/Iron Man/Thor I have high hopes for this one!
Last movie I saw (in theaters) was The Hunger Games. I personally enjoyed it, minus a few issues here and there that Doug Walker sums up nicely in my opinion (second video app on the page). Mostly the shaky camera, which made the fight scenes...less than desirable. Also the changes from the books...eh I won't be a snob. It could have been "just like the book" better but I think it ported pretty well considering how much internal thought was a huge part of the book.
Just saw Raid Redemption couple of mins ago. The last fight scene was intense as hell.
Death By Hanging.
I value honesty in the same way that I value the sheath of a sword, while I value deceit in the same way that I value the sword itself. Deceit is just another weapon, and a weapon is inherently neither good nor bad. Whether it is good or bad in a situation depends on the ones on whom it is used... on this battlefield of the war between good and evil, commonly referred to as "the world."
Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Slither. I actually quite liked it too o.o
I watched The Adjustment Bureau today. It was a neat movie.
IT! The Terror From Beyond Space (1958)
Very enjoyable horror flick about a creature entering a rocketship on its way back to earth and killing the crew one by one. Sound familar? That's because this is the film that inspired Alien (1979). I highly suggest watching it, as for a 1950's film its pretty suspenseful and spooky. But be warned, since this was the 50's, all the women on board just cook and act as doctors.....
3 stars out of 4.
Edit: It's available to watch instantly on Netflix. So what are you waiting for, go check it out!

Its an awesome movie, even if it was a bit sad.
I had never seen it before and I assumed I would hate it but I ended up really enjoying it. Lots of great humor.
Does re-watching Pokemon: Heroes count? I love that movie to pieces!<3
Otherwise, the last movie I saw in theaters was the Hunger Games. A lot of people who had read the book complained about it, but I liked it. It wasn't the same as the book, but it was epic regardless, in my opinion!
Adopt one yourself! @Pokémon Orphanage
Yesterday I watched Yes Man for the.... millionth time. Its still very funny though. Also watched Hop. It was so-so.
Fire and Lightning Race Across the Heavens
Titanic. I teared up a little, even got a tear or two. So sad.
