Last movie I watched that I have never seen before was Ruby Sparks.
Quite an interesting movie. I personally wouldn't rush out to buy it but it wasn't bad. 6/10 from me.

    Jack the Giant Slayer

Good adaptation but a bit dragging. Compared to Hansel and Gretel this one is a bit better I think.
I like the gore in Hansel, lol. But Jack is a lil more epic. And the main cast is just right, not too old.
Also is more fun to watch an army of giants then a covenant of witches.
But since its a Bryan Singers movie I expected better. Its more like for kiddies...
Ewan McGregor was so boring btw.

    Premium Rush

Very amusing. Michael Shannon is such a cartoonish villain here (even though the character is dangerous), he's too fun to watch.

I also like how the movie anachronically explains the whole backstory to you, it completes the puzzle piece by piece through "flashbacks".

    Sunshine Cleaning

I was looking for a "light" movie and ran into this... about a crime scene cleanup team. Pretty enjoyable.

Black Swan. Really good, and really creepy at that. I don't have much else to say because the film leaves you speechless in an effective way. I was thinking of taking up smoking after it because I felt like I needed a pack after that insanity, haha. Natalie Portman was a good lead and had good contrast with Mila Kunis. 4/5.

    Oz the Great and Powerful

At first I thought it would be disappointing like Alice in Wonderland. But its not bad after all, not really great either.
Visually it was good, the acting was ok, James Franco wasn't that miscast like everyone was saying. Rachel Weisz as the villain topped them all, just like Helena Carter in Alice or Charlize Theron in Snow White. I guess if you get the antagonist role especially the wicked one you get to explore your character more. All in all its a light and fun movie to watch. And oh my, that monkey was sure ugly...

    Ghost in the Shell

Finally got around to watching it. It's an interesting film for sure. I can see why it's a popular anime film, it has a lot of context anime is known for, especially in the philosophical aspect about life and individuality--who you are as a person. But a few things have flown over my head a little (doesn't help it's late as I'm typing this), so a couple more viewings would probably help. But from what I did get, I liked. The music is some of the best I've heard, such symbolism behind it all (once you understand what the chanting is, and how it plays a part in telling the story without other pieces of dialogue, just it and the visuals).

The Matrix was inspired by this movie, and it shows. I suggest checking it out to see what it's about. Just be warned that it's not for everyone.

    Les Miserables.

It was the best movie I've ever seen. It moved me to tears, every single scene and song was beautiful, and there wasn't a thing about it that I didn't like. I'm so happy I watched it.
