TV: Pokemon the Movie: Kyurem Vs. the Sword of Justice

This was probably the most pointless Pokemon movie to date. It was rather short and the whole premise was really just about Keldeo and Kyurem fighting for a good 90% of the movie. This is more like an extended episode than anything else. Still, there were some good moments.

Pretty good. I enjoyed watching them while playing SoulSilver and White 2 XP

I saw Fall Of Olympus or Olympus is Falling or whatever its called. It was okay I guess...even if I felt like I watched a two hour propaganda film...

    Perfect Blue

Watched the English sub, which meant watching the uncut version of the movie.

What a mind-screw of a movie, but I still like it--which is funny, because this was recommended to me a couple of years ago, and I said I wasn't going to watch it due to its rating. But after watching Tokyo Godfathers and Paranoia Agent, Satoshi Kon was cemented to be amongst my favorite directors, so naturally, I decided to go ahead and watch another of his movies.

I hear people compare this to Black Swan. I don't think I'll ever see that movie, but Perfect Blue is good enough for me. It sure was gripping. Are there some problems/annoyances with it? Yeah, but I think that was the point of it. You weren't supposed to know what was real, and what was an "illusion", per se.

Still, there was quite a bit of foreshadowing, even though I knew how the movie went because of TV Tropes, so I was able to catch up on the foreshadowing quick. Is it a definite re-watch? Possibly. Recommended? If you enjoy psychological thriller and are mature enough to watch it, because there are some intense sequences. It was hard to watch at times, which was the point.

    Thick as Thieves

It was actually better than I thought. I knew Morgan Freeman would nail any role he was given, but the movie was actually not really bad. Not great, but still.

    The Croods

So much better than I thought it was going to be about, I really enjoyed it, Chris Sanders has done it again. I felt so in-tune to these characters, it was as though they had existed. I got emotional during the climax, I was ready to burst into tears. The creature designs are amazing, I was so enthralled with the creatures in the movie. There's just so much to this movie, it'll be a shame to talk more about it without telling everyone to go see it.

I'll be disappointed if Turbo turns out bad, The Croods was a great way to start off this year.

    I concur.

Watched Life of Pi, not that bad. I never read the book though, so I can't make a comparison there.

The Amazing Spiderman, finally... not as good as Spiderman and Spiderman 2 but definitely better than Spiderman 3.

The last movie I watched was the Wraith of Roanoke. I got a little interested with the lost colony, then I stumbled upon this film. It's not what I expected though. I never knew it was a horror film, but it's still great...

Braveheart. It was brilliant, though violent. Mel Gibson was pretty good in it too.

I watched "Employee of the Month", from 2004, not the 2006 movie with the same title. It is a dark comedy, and it was... interesting. The plot was great, and if you want something that messes with your head a little, the last part of the movie will definitly do it for you.

Alien. A wery well done horror film. I usually hate horror, but this film was an excellent horror and sci-fi movie. Many people think Aliens is better, but Alien was better in my opinion.
