I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a couple of days ago, and really enjoyed it. It is now the 2nd Jim Carrey film I truly enjoyed. The narrative gimmick wasn't as enjoyable because I had recently watched Memento, it was still interesting. Overall a very lovely and enjoying story, I especially liked how it wasn't just all about the 2 protagonist and the story branched out to include the other character's personal lives in it as well.

Last night I watched Pan's Labyrinth. It was a very, very good movie but I think it's been overrated a bit. I loved the tone and enjoyed every bit of it, but the things I had read and heard about it had raised my expectations to pretty absurd levels.

    A Series Of Unfortunate Events

One of my favorite childhood movies, still as good as the first time I watched it.

I saw Moon last night, and I really loved it. Pretty surprised to see how badly it was snubbed at the Oscars in 2009, because Sam Rockwell's performance in this was fantastic. Loved the setting and set design, as well. As much as people go on and on about how immersed they were in the world of Avatar, I felt more invested in Moon's world than a world with freaky blue people in it. If you liked Danny Boyle's Sunshine, give this a watch.

    You should. It's really good.

Finally saw 50/50. Phenomenal. I laughed. I teared up. Can't recommend it enough. How Tree of Life was nominated for Best Picture and this wasn't is beyond me.

I loved it at the cinema. A few minor issues, but that was more what I wanted it to be rather than what it was. I just felt it was a shame it was given the smallest screen in the cinema the week after I saw the abomination that was Movie 43 in the biggest screen in the cinema.

Finally got around to Iron Man 3. It was great! I wish they never changed War Machine though, since that's my favorite suit. All the suits coming together towards the end was great.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. But if Star Trek Into Darkness doesn't win an Oscar for Best Visual Effects or best Sound Effects, heck even Best Supporting Actor I'll-

Watched Planet of the Apes (1968) and my God this movie is brilliant. I know a lot of people think the movies from the 60's and 70's are cheesy (and let's be honest, some of the things and effects in even this movie are groan-inducing) but you should put that aside for this one. It is truly an avant gard film, one I can't recommend enough.

The Great Gatsby yesterday. It wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated it to be upon reading the reviews and seeing (and despising) Lurhmann's 'Romeo + Juliet'.

I once watched the end of this film and I was legit amazed by the costumes of the apes. I didn't think a costume could look so impressive and realistic.

    Fast and the Furious 6

I watched it in a special advanced screening (at least here in my country). Overall, good movie, great acting and good effects but again, not the best I've seen but good enough.

Star Trek Into Darkness. I enjoyed it a lot. I'd put it equal to the first. Cumberbatch did a great job!

    Last watched was Skyfall.

I like the series as a whole and I figured that I wanted to watch the latest James Bond film.

Saw Argo the other day. You could cut the tension of the last ten minutes of the film with a knife. And some scenes are pretty damn funny. Definitely recommend.
