Get lost, that was one of the best films I've seen all year along with Stoker and Mud.
What didn't you like about it?

After recently seeing fast and furious 6, i was keen to see more of the series. I heard a few glowing reviews about the first installment, so i watched it. It starts off very well with an epic scene involving a lorry. It gets quiet in the middle, but the cars and characters were both very good. It has more of a dark feel to it than 6 but was a little dissapointing. But still a must see for new fans of the series 6.5/10

The Earth Is a Sinful Song

An old Finnish film from 1970s (the events in the film happen in 1940s). I wanted to watch it because I read some reviews about it and it seemed to be a Finnish film classic. In the film NOTHING happened expect many people died and everyone worked hard. It was somewhat boring but it was interesting to see life in 1940s Lapland and the film was very well made.

    Tucker and Dale VS Evil

Wasn't expecting it to be that funny and it was a lot more cerebral than I thought it would be. Being pleasantly surprised by moves lately.

Watched Charlie St. Cloud yesterday, haha, don't judge. I actually genuinely enjoyed it, not amazing, but pretty good. I also saw The Heat last week and it was SOOO funny, definitely recommend it.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I had been on such a huge horror movie trip that I figured I needed to change it up a bit.

Good because I am hoping to go and see it. My local newspaper said it is 1/5 but I can show them all the ratings that others think and prove the newspaper wrong

    Despicable Me 2

I like the first one because it had a bit of original flair to it. This one didn't really have that original flair, but I still liked it. Didn't really have the best movie experience (some kid kept pushing my seat), and I didn't laugh as much as I did in the first one if only because I swear they exploited the Minions a bit too much here, and it was a bit predictable at times, but like the first one, anything they did came full circle or at least used by the end, so that made up for everything. Gru is still great as always, the girls, what little screentime they actually had (wasn't as much as it was in the first movie) was still enjoyable, and Lucy was actually pretty charming, she wasn't annoying.

So yeah. It's cute, easily rewatchable to kill some time, but it fell a little flat on the heartwarming side, which was the heart of the first film.

Also holy crap at the alcohol jokes in this film.

Just got back from watching Superman Man of Steel.
It was a long movie but great.
8/10 or 9/10 depends on what mood I was in.

    Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

This was the third Marilyn Monroe film I've watched (the other two being Monkey Business and Seven Years Itch) and it was pretty good - well, at least for an old musical. Monroe and Jane Russell were very good but I've would like to see more musical numbers. The ending was rather typical and there were also usual plot twists including lost items and false identities. But I liked the film anyway and it was fun to see all the old clothes and stuff.

I watched the Deer Hunter last night. Very well made and amazing acting, but very sad.
