Saw the The Deer Hunter at the Cinema last night. The Odeon in Manchester is showing a run of old films again on Mondays, and this was the first one.

Man of Steel. Great film, loved it more than all of the other Superman movies.

Pacific Rim. That was freakin amazing. Me and my friends all loved it, but then a bunch of other guys trashed it and tried to convince us that it was lame. The whole argument/conversation was really awkward and happened so soon after the movie that I forgot some of the best parts and instead only remembered the negative comments that they made. Shame, it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

I used to liek mudkipz, then I took an arrow in the knee. However the arrow turned out to be a seaking. It yelled "F*** yeah" so I screamed "FUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!". The seaking's face became that of a troll while mine became forever alone. The situation was super effective.

    The Man Of Steel

Very good movie, even though it felt more like an alien invasion movie than a superhero movie. And after the opening in Krypton, I was like "Earth is boring, lets go back to Krypton" XD

I had little hope for it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I finally saw The Great Gatsby the other day. I enjoyed it but I think it was a little over-hyped, I'm glad I waited until it was in the cheap theatre. From what I remember of the book, it stayed true to the story though.

The Hangover 3. It was not as good as the other ones, but it still gave the trilogy a good ending.

Airplane!, a 1980 comedy film about a flight going terribly wrong. It has its silly moments, but it is pretty funny and is worth the watch as long as you're not watching it alone.

Just came back from watching World War Z. I actually really liked it as it wasn't the normal type of zombie slaying stuff. A couple of jumpscares caught me off guard and I liked how the zombies were kind of intelligent.
If you're thinking about going to watch this movie, I recommend it

    Pacific Rim

It was amazing, there are no words that can described how I felt about this movie. Maybe "elated", but that sounds a bit too mild. But I really enjoyed it, and I loved every minute of it. I will be very disappointed if Pacific Rim doesn't get the Visual Effects award in the Academy/Oscars.

I watched Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 last night.

Laurie (The main character) was so annoying, oh my god. She totally ruined the movie.

    World War Z.

Never read the book so I didn't quite know what to expect. It was entertaining although a bit predictable.

    7/10.
