    Finally saw Sixth Sense. Even though the big twist was spoiled for me long ago, I watched it and still loved, an enthralling and captivating thriller, it was cerebral and had anvery dark and foreboding essence. The ending is nothing short of amazing. 9/10

    Going to see the Red Dawn remake today. I enjoyed the original to an extent(7/10) but I will return to share my thoughts on the new one

    Memento. No idea what happened. It was hard to follow, which I didn't expect, because I got Inception on my first watch. Then again, maybe Inception is just easier to 'get'.

    The Avengers was great. I guess my biggest complaint was that Loki didn't do anything but stand around and get pimp slapped, but I don't know what else to complain about. Damn, the SFX were amazing.

    breathe it in, i'm gonna shine. it's my moment, i'm going to fly.

    Watched the new Red Dawn today. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Shaky camera, awful acting, silly generic plot, absurd logic. Just a really bad movie, pretty stupid and one of the worst I have seen this year. 2/10

    I think Memento is my favorite Nolan movie. It's kinda hard to follow, but it's worth it.

    Blade Runner.

    I'd say it's... average. I love Harrison Ford but it's not really as good a movie as my dad claimed it was ;-;

    I finally got around to seeing Black Swan. I feel like it was a bit over-hyped, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.. I think I'll be buying it.

    I was digging around my massive DVD collection and came across a jewel from the mystical age of the early 2000s (Ooh, aah) known as "Second Hand Lions." Most people come across this movie in either High School or College film class - I, however, remember my film class as a purply haze of warbling critics and wannabe intellectuals.

    Second Hand Lions wasn't that great of a movie - It had Robert Duvall and Micheal Caine in it, and they made it rather watchable (Despite Caine's horrible miscast as a southern American.) Aside from that, however, the film took an extremely uncomfortable misogynistic approach to Women in general, and the face of Sora's voice actor (Forget that kid's name) is not worth sitting through. All in all, it's one of those tearjerker films - you know those. The types that are advertised as comedies or other brands of lighthearted adventures, but are specially crafted to rend your chest in half. I can't stand those films - they take the emotional aspect of films and force it down your throat, when in a proper film, such emotions should be evoked naturally, as in a book, or a well-written Video Game.

    Prometheus, on the other hand, was the movie I watched right before this. While I don't have as much to say about it as I did with Second Hand Lions, I can at least affirm that I enjoyed it more. For those fearing the gory aspect that comes naturally with the series, I can affirm that Prometheus was mostly just slime and explosions (Although there was a squid abortion, spoilers end here.)

    Creating sentience is simple. Accepting it, however, is harder than it looks.

    Just saw Lincoln in the theaters today and I thought it was done excellently. I definitely recommend seeing it.

    Fair bit of warning though. If you don't know much about the events that were happening during his presidency, it might be a bit difficult to follow at times.
