Pokemon Battle Academy - Accepting NEW SIGN-UPS (5/12/2011)

Hello and welcome to all. Because many people have busy lives and had to leave the RPG, signups are now back open to the public. The same plot as before is still continuing. There are a few new details.

1. You will not be starting at the boat. Instead, you are in your second week of school. Post like you have been in the school the whole time. You will begin at a funeral once enough people have signed up.

2. You pokemon are in the range of 20-25ish.You are able to have four pokemon and only one in its evolved state. You cannot have legendaries. Debatable ones, such as a phione, you may have. Try to keep low on common pokemon. No mass Zoru or eevee inflation. The max for either pokemon will be three. (Note: Already one of each are taken.)

3. The no Co-mods are Flame Mistress and Mon1010. If you have any questions about what has happened so far in the rpg, you can pm me, Mon, Flame, Istory, Lucario, or Ambre. We will start the rpg again once we have at least six new characters. The signups will last for one more week after these successful sighnups have been completed.

4. No making wild stories without permission. Meaning no mass pokemon or evil guy attack. No getting your character massively injured and then creating difficulties for another character without permission from the other person. Please be courteous and realize that your character's actions will affect others.

5. Don't make yourself overly powerful. This is unless you take one of the teachers. (Note: there are only three teachers you can choose from. It is completely first come first serve.)

6. Try to stay active. If you aren't going to be around for a while, send you characters on a vacation or let someone bunny. It is no fun making someone wait for you while everyone else is doing something. This makes one day turn into a month.

7. NO GOING OFF ON YOUR OWN TANGENT! WE WILL KICK YOU OFF IF YOU DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE STORY!!!


Other than that, we here at PBA are happy that you considered joining us. It is our hope that you will enjoy this RPG with us. Remember, you will be starting at a funeral. Be ready to be somber.


One last note. You character will have the option later to be bad. It is entirely up to you whether this happens or not. If he does go to team Crusades, you will be talking with IStorm's character a lot. It might be good to meet him. Other than that. Join if you are interested in the RPG!!!!!!

If you want to make a teacher, sure, go ahead. Crusade members are also welcome, I guess, as ling as they have a reasonable history. Maximum three Pokémon for these guys.

I would like to sign-up but I have a question. Since the SU's are re-opened, does that mean that the new players that sign-up have to read all the previous pages of the RP, or are we starting from scratch?

We are starting from where the rpg currently stands. They can read the previous pages of the RPG if they want to, but it won't be required. I think you can picture what is going on without actually reading though the material. Most of it is not relevant anyways for the fact that the players are no longer here. Just know that you will start at the funeral of a girl named Aurora that your character may or may not have met.

Of course, I am not a Co-gm, so it is up to Mon1010 and Flame Mistresses whether they want to start over. However, as far as it has been discussed, there is no plan to restart the RPG over. Again, you won't have to read the entire RPG to catch up. Just know you are starting at a funeral.

Name: Alex Ganston

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Trainer/Coordinator/Teacher: Trainer

Appearance: Standing tall at 6'2", Alex is a person that dwarfs many people with his height. Although he is slightly built, he is not 'ripped'. He has light brown skin, and has medium-sized black hair that shines in the light, and is really smooth to the touch. His eyes are dark brown, almost the colour black if not looked at carefully. He wears a grey zip-up sweater that is fitted, and he wears a turquoise-coloured t-shirt underneath his sweater. He wears dark blue jeans, which are kind of baggy, especially further down the leg, but the jeans overall have a pretty goof fit. His jeans also have light blue fades near the thighs. His casual shoes are green, which are made of a suede-ike material, and they are flat at the bottom. Upon closer inspection at the shoes, the word "Suedes" are written in gold writing on the outside of the shoes. He also happens to wear a silver, expensive-looking watch on his right hand(non-digital).

Personality: Not really the adventurous-type, and is kind of shy. He doesn't talk too much to new people, and shuts his mouth when he knows not to talk. He's not a loner, but would rather hang-out with the 'cool' kids than hang around with people who would be considered his 'actual' friends. He doesn't do this intentionally, but he feels he has a reputation to keep, and by hanging around the more popular people, will prevent him from getting made fun of, or become a prime target for bullies.

He's also really paranoid about some things, and it honestly gets annoying by some people. There's really no major examples, but he does tend to over-think things or look at the negative side.

He's also a bit cocky. Just a bit. He's not extremely good at battling or anything, but he does have a fair amount of control in his battles, as he knows what he's doing. Back home, he would spar a bit everyday with his Pokemon against some local kids, or whoever was up for a match or two.

History: Alex previously enrolled in a lesser-known school in Hoenn, but after a bit, the funding for the school had ended, due to the New Pokemon Academy which was opened up. There was really no need for the other school, not to mention the teachers all left eventually, and the student numbers/attendance were dwindling down to 2 digit numbers, which is not enough to keep a school running, especially since it was a private school.

Alex has had a fair amount of battling skill in his lifetime, although not league worthy or anything, he can hold his ground fairly well. One thing he was known for in his town, was the fact that he could come up with decent battle tactics during a match. However, many people just say that it's a lie and he does these tactics in his spare time and act smart. Although that may be the case, as he was not the most smartest kid in school, and had a C+ average in pretty much everything.

Anyways, his parents filled out the form for the Academy, and next thing you know, Alex was shipped off to the school, which was one of the best in the region. Now the only things his parents want him to do, is to get the top grades, and make up his mind about his job. So yeah, his life hasn't exactly been the most mesmerizing, as his life is just like any other teenager's life, with just a few twists here and there. He grew up in an average neighbourhood, so he wasn't rich, although he did spend his money on some rather expensive items such as his watch and his green shoes. He lived with both of his parents, and his younger sister who is home schooled, as she did not want to go the PBA.

Personality: Elekid has a childish nature, which makes it more of a prankster than Wooper. Elekid has no problem interacting with other Pokemon, and especially likes interacting with other Electric Types. Other than that, Elekid has no discrimination against other types. He's gentle, playful, but kind of a baby when it comes to water. Elekid doesn't like the water, but for some reason has no problem with water-types.

Wooper Keeps Elekid in check when he goes out of control, which fortunately, isn't too often. Wooper and Elekid are like two peas in a pod, in which they are always hanging around outside their Pokeballs. Wooper is more of a adult nature, as he doesn't fool around like Elekid. Wooper also doesn't like it when trainers pet his body. It' not a big deal, but just a notable pet peeve.


Catch History: Elekid was given to Alex has an egg as a little boy. No real significance, as he got it from the Day-Care at Mauville City from the Old couple who didn't want to keep the egg, as the original trainer didn't want it either. Alex, not wanting them to get rid of the egg, he took the egg and raised the Elekid that hatched from it as his own.

Wooper was Alex's first catch, after going to the Johto region for trip one time. Alex ran into Wooper at a lake, while on a little trek through the mountains. Elekid battled Wooper, in which Elekid obviously won, allowing Alex to capture Wooper.

I'm not a gm, but I think it looks good. Could you give a little more information on history. For example, where he and his parents lived, how he grew up. Other than history, I think it is good to get accepted.

Quite Honestly, we are starting over. All that is happening are rumors about the Crusaders are spreading across campus. Oh and Flame mistress kill Aurora. Other than that, nothing has really happened.

Name: Jago Surslon.

Appearance: Jago has light brown- auburn hair that is shaped in the middle but shorter on the sides. He likes to wear button collar shirts with palm trees and many Pokemon on it. Jago's pants are plaid with button pockets that have Pokeballs printed on them. His bag's strap goes across his shirt and his cap has Chikorita and words above it saying I love my Chikorita. but the words and picture can be taken off and put back on so right now it is I love my Bayleef. No one makes fun of it because most of his friends get hats like that with their Pokemon printed on them. Jago's eyes are light brown.


Personality: Jago can be very, very, clumsy. He loves to joke around and be silly. Which often gets him into trouble at school. Jago is kind hearted, sympathetic, and sensitive towards others. But he can lose his temper once in a while. Jago likes going on big adventures often getting him into many dangers.


History: Jago was born in Johto in Mahogany Town. At age 10 he set out into the world of Pokemon. But then he heard about the Pokemon Academy when he was 11. He walked very, very, far to get there but got there eventually. As I said earlier he is very clumsy. His most clumsy thing he did was when he was in class he tried to give out the homework assignments but had been wearing the shoes that are very slippery and had collapsed on the floor with papers flying around him. Everyone laughed but he didn't care. But one day his most dangerous thing he ever did was try to cross a narrow old bridge but fell into a river about to feet deep and managed to survive it because one of the river Pokemon saved him. He then caught that Pokemon for his team.
Pokemon:
Species: Bayleef.
Nickname: Hoja.
Known attacks: Magical Leaf, Synthesis, Poison Powder, and Razorleaf.
Personality: Hoja is very playful and friendly towards others. But can get very frightened causing him to hide in Jago's hat. Jago helps him calm down which he eventually does. This is pretty cute.


Catch History: On one of Jago's adventures he was running around and saw a hurt and unconscious scratched up Pokemon. Jago went into serious mode and had taken a Medicine Book with him. He healed the Pokemon and cleaned it and found out it was a Chikorita. He stayed by it every minute. Chikorita woke up and was in love with Jago. In an instance Chikorita pounced on Jago's shoulder and had become his first Pokemon.

Species: Feebas.
Nickname: Hanalei
Personality: Feebas is very quiet and shy. But ready for battle..... Even if he doesn't know a lot of moves.
Moves: Surf, Hail, and Splash.
History: Feebas had rescued Jago when he had fallen off the bridge and Jago decided to catch the lonely willing Feebas. Jago loves it now and tries to evolve it but can't seem to do it.
Species: Egg.
Nickname: None yet.
Personality: None yet.
History: None yet. All there is it was a gift for his 11th birthday.

** If you decide to sign-up as a teacher, you are allowed to have a full team and fully evolved types. The move rule still applies, except for level restriction. But remember, if you sign-up as a teacher, I will expect a higher quality sign-up on character and pokemon.
