Lets see, might not be correct because of the Google use.

私が廊下を歩いて or Watashi ga rōka o aruite
    and
私は階段を上って行きました or Watashi wa kaidan o nobotte ikimashita

Google for language translations is normally incorrect. And apparently Japanese translations are the worst. So maybe it would be best to wait for someone who knows Japanese well.

Is it okay to say "Alright"? Or should I just continue to use "All right"? Or does it matter at all?

Well, what ever spell check says. Either way works, so it doesn't matter.

I heard it was either "alright" or allright." I can't remember which, but I know it was one word.

The two-word "all right" is preferred. "Alright" can be accepted, but it can also easily be doubted. You're better off sticking with "all right", since the former was only brought to attention with the advent of many pop songs.

I've been told by many english teachers that "all right" is incorrect.

"Alright" is just a contraction of "all right". The same kind of thing is seen in other words such as "altogether" and "already". I'm pretty sure they're interchangeable, but in formal context, it's probably better to use "all right".

Weird. I wrote a formal essay and my English teacher told me to use "alright."

No human is infallible, including teachers. When it comes down to it, the English language is extremely fluid and people use it in different ways. There are no truly correct ways except those that are most widely accepted; even then, though, people are able to communicate (albeit somewhat ineffectively) using broken English. Clearly the choice between "alright" and "all right" isn't going to change the world, so just go with what your teacher says if it means getting a better grade.

I always prefer to use the correct form of the word, and my teacher said "alright" was correct and "all right" was incorrect. I had no idea "all right" was acceptable beforehand, so I thought "alright" was the only correct answer.

I know, I plan on doing that.

You should use both, depending on the context, at least if you want to continue to be a resounding success in life. Like, it's generally not okay to use "alright" in formal writing, but "all right" makes you look like a blowhard if you don't need to be formal.

Basically, even though it should, it's never actually going to matter which one you use, so you should just simplify your life a little bit and forget you ever asked this question in the first place, all right? Alright.

P.S.- No, but seriously, it's "all right". ****ing colloquialisms.

P.P.S.- Really though, just use whichever. Or don't. Either way.

I am shocked by both the utter cluelessness and irony in this reply.

But not as shocked as I am that multiple persons in charge of educating children could be so completely wrong.

Just the usual blood and gore in every war game. Although it can be reduced to a PG level.

Hmm....I have a bizzare question to ask.

How important does someone have to be before they are assassinated instead of murdered?
Take a moment to consider just how nothing nothing really is....If you understand this, then you just solved the universe.

The truth that each person...each soul...is a book. And when we lay our feelings out in the open...and we give them no name...and we give them no author....and we give them no description.....who will actually read them..........?"

    1.
to kill suddenly or secretively, especially a politically prominent person; murder premeditatedly and treacherously.

    2.
to destroy or harm treacherously and viciously: to assassinate a person's character.
Assassinations are usually for personal gain or gain of the client, so you tend to have to have some standing to be assassinated. Technically, you could be assassinated even if you're the poorest or least influential person on the planet, by the definition, but it really just tends to be those that are necessary in the power struggle for the one who wants the assassination to take place.
If you are one of the group who believes that people putting false statistics in their signatures to validate their own opinion, then telling others to put it in their signature, should be punished severely, do not put this in your signature and press 1. If you believe their statements are detrimental to society, press 2. For comments, complaints, or concerns about this signature, press 3. To redial, press 4.

It was fun though, other than the dying part.

Good question; I think an assassination demands a political, non-personal motive for the murder. If Justin Bieber was killed by someone he knew, for example, that would still be a 'murder'. But if Justin Bieber had publicly started his own extreme left-wing party and was shot by a right-wing extremist, that could be termed an 'assassination'.
