Favorite Johto Pokemon and why?

Bayleef is, together with Milotic, my favourite Pokemon, so also my favourite Jotho Pokemon. When Jotho came out, I immediately loved Bayleef, without knowing or being able to explain why. Ash's Bayleef in the anime made my Bayleef-obsession even bigger. Bayleef is awesome!

Ampharos and its evolutions are my favorite pokemon of any generation. I also like Ho-oh as it was the first pokemon I managed to get to level 100.

I have a lot of Johto Pokémon I love equally, but I'll focus on just one for now.
Ho-Oh. It is the legendary bird of Ecruteak City. It has many mystical qualities including the ability to create rainbows. In all liklihood, it is the Pokémon most associated with the phoenix. A legendary bird of rebirth, purity, and immortality. It is the only Pokémon assocated with the item called Sacred Ash - a unique item that acts as a Max Revive ×5. Additionally, Ho-Oh is the only Pokémon that can learn the powerful Sacred Fire attack, which has a 50% Burn chance.

Skarmory. It just rocks.. Johto generation is probably my 2nd favorite region.

Take Scyther, bolster its stats, add more resistances and a semi-unique typing, and you get Scizor!
Despite having a 4x weakness, Scizor definitely makes up for it with a Steel-type and great speed.
The only downside is that I had to wait until the GTS came along to get it.

Quilava!

I love every Pokemon from Johto but Quilava is my all time favorite.

Umbreon, Such an awesome looking and beautiful Pokemon. Especially its Shiny form. I never go anywhere in the Johto region without it in my party.

Ampharos is my absolute favourite, out of any pokemon xD
I adore its design (it has features of my favourite animal; a penguin!), it is elegant but also very cute. Also helping my love for it is that my first pokemon I ever had was an Ampharos. I still have him ^0^

Hitmontop - it specializes in spinning kicks, a fighting style that I love.
Suicune - it can purify any body of water and its design is beautiful.

Totodile - It was my first Pokemon in a game ever, brings back sweet memories.

whishcash is from hoen... If you're thinking of the water and ground type from johto it was quagsire not whishcash

Misdreavus was a pretty awesome Pokemon, shame you got it at the last part of the game or I would have used it a lot more.

Skarmory and Xatu are always on my team too; I love their designs and battle cries.

Politoed! Cozmo (my old HG Politoed, look in the recent happenings for it) was beast, took out Lances entire team (except Gyarados, which Thunder defeated).
