Favorite Johto Pokemon and why?

Definitely Cyndaquil. I've had an attachment to it and Charmander as long as I can remember.

Umbreon, it's my favorite of all of the Eeveelutions. If just for the sake of evolutions connected though, I'd have a liking to Murkrow as well; Honchkrow is just badass, design and all.

Hoooo boy am I excited! I get to talk about one of my favorite pokemon today!!! Hurray!!!

Pointless rambling aside, my favorite Johto pokemon is without a doubt Umbreon, because I just LOVE his appearance. Seriously I love it, I really don't know how to explain what I love about it so much. Another reason is because Dark is my 3rd favorite type. Lastly, Umbreon is very nostalgic for me, you see, when I was nine or so, I went over to a friend's house and saw him playing Colloseum, and using his Umbreon and Espeon. I immediately fell in love with it on the spot, and asked my friend who that pokemon was. He said it was Umbreon, and I proceeded to obsess over Umbreon in the coming years, vowing to one day have him as a part of my team. Unfortunately, unless you count Pokemon Showdown, which I don't, I never did come across the cool looking dog/cat (not sure which really) until just VERY recently during my SoulSilver playthrough, which I got very recently too. I was overjoyed to have him, and I don't know why I haven't had him until now, but I do know this: I'm just past 5 badges, and no matter what, I will not toss Umbreon from my team no matter the consequences. No, he will venture with me all the way until we reach the hall of fame, come rain or shine!

Espeon all the way. Umbreon is a close second tho. But from a nostalgic view, Feraligatr. Silver was my first game and Totodile was my first starter...

Ah, I don't know how to choose. :'C I love my Ampharos to death, but I think that is that Pokemon in particular. If it was someone elses, it wouldn't be on my list of favourites. I love Umbreon, and Quilava. C: Oh, and Totodile. And Typhlosion and Cyndquil...

I get nostalgic with GSC every time, since Silver was my very first Pokemon game as a little kid. Feraligatr will always be my #1, since Totodile was my first solid starter (I reset the game by accident, since I didn't know there was a save command on the game back in those days). Then in 2nd is (arguably) Furret, 'cause for some reason it always appealed to me (especially in Stadium 2). Then 3rd, Ampharos, for its little story in Olivine City. And last, Espeon. I always liked its mysteriousness and (OMG!) its cry.
As far as legendaries, my favorites will always be Ho-oh and Raikou.

Other Johto Pokemon I enjoy as well include: Spinarak, Quilava, Sneasel, Stantler, and Heracross.

Favorite... Cyndaquil. Freaking cute and I just love its design a lot. Before I even got to play in the Johto region, I had already made my choice of Cyndaquil as being my favorite from all the starters and my favorite from all the Johto Region Pokemon. I love its evolutions as well; going from a pretty cute Pokemon to a very firce looking Pokemon ^_^

Hoothoot and Noctowl, but if I have to choose only one, I'd go with Noctowl. Why? Because I've always loved owls. And I have pretty impressive collection of Hoothoot and Noctowl stuff too.

My favourite Johto Pokemon are Tyranitar and Kingdra because I used them in my SS team and they helped me get a good winning steak at the BF.

For Johto, I kinda liked Houndoom and T-Tar the most. cause they looked the best when I first seen them

Scizor because he got me all the way in Pokemon Silver GBA but it can also be Typhlosion as well because he owns my opponent's Pokemon like a BOSS!

I would have to say Feraligatr, dunno why but perhaps it was the nostalgic feeling it got whilst playing HG/SS after all those years i spent playing Crystal, long story short, it has never let me down once.

Gee's I could say a so many; Scizor, Houndoom, T-tar, Kingdra, Chikorita, Umbreon, however my favourite has to go to Heracross. Ever since the Anime I have just really liked Heracross. It was also one of my first ev trained Pokemon and caused havoc for a lot of my opponents with it's close combat and megahorn. Plus bug Pokemon are pretty awesome.

Johto has so many good people. My favourite is Bellossom because she is really adorable and floral, but I also love Blissey, the mareep line, wooper line, the larvitar line, Espeon, Umbreon, the legendaries and Crobat.

I love a lot of johto pokemon, but crobat is definitely my favorite.
