Ew at Purrloin being male. I mean come on Pokemon themselves should be able to the genders of other Pokemon.

How the hell do these things mate if they don't the gender of Pokemon. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

As I thought Purrloin belonged to the girl.

Overall this episode was pretty damn boring. I mean I expected a little more than what we got. Most of the episode revolved them talking in like the same exact spot. I mean there was just no action whatsoever.

The only truly thing that interested me was Jessie and James plot.

Loved Meowth impression when he popped out of Iris pokeball, scared frantic and overwhelmed, maybe Iris might catch him if this continue. But overall pretty sweet episode, love Oshawott and Meowth falling in love thing the end was priceless it made me laugh. So onto the preview not bad at all it looks like Meowth was kidnapped for part of the preivew.

Alright probably-Filler Episode. Give me us your best shot!

So we have Purrlion. Appears to be wild.
Also appears to have picked a fight with the wrong Tranquil (not Ash's).
Tranquil's flock chase it into the forest leading to -
Opening.
And we're back. Ash and friends are walking through the forest.
Meowth seems to be more at ease with the group and visa versa.
Except Pikachu, who stills thinks he's a jerk.
Ash defends Meowth. Meowth in turn gets all teary and dramatic.
Then Purlloin crashes into him and ruins the moment.
Meowth meets regional cat. You can guess what happens.
And, of course, Pulloin starts feeding the group a pack of lies.
The Tranquil catch up. Meowth futily tries to protect Purrloin.
Ash goes the more effective route. You know. Using Pokemon who are effective.
JUMBO BOLTO.
Even though Meowth failed Purrloin is flattered.
Then Oshawott and Purrlion lock eyes. Uh oh.
Oshawott is much more effective at protecting Purrlion's interests.
After some talk Iris decides to catch Purrloin. (Isn't randomly throwing Pokeballs what she belittled Ash about before?)
Meowth foolishly jumps in front of Iris' Pokeball.
This time Meowth looks completely freaked out when he escapes.
Meowth and Oshawott fight over Purrlion some more, but ...
Purrlion's intent becomes obvious. It just wants their food.
Cut to Jessie and James. They're staking ... some place out. I didn't catch it.
Back with the group who decides to help Purrlion with its problem.
Cilian's watched enough " deceptively cute Pokemon " episodes to know where this is going.
BREAK.
Now Purrlion leads them Ash/Iris/Meowth/Pokemon up a cliff.
Hm? Cilian didn't follow them.
He stays behind and meets a girl with a broken arm (CoTD) who's looking for Purrlion.
Now back to the others. Purrlion leads them inside the mountain.
Meowth hands over the food bag pretty easily.
Now Purrlion convinces then to hop down into an obvious not-trap.
What do you know? It was a trap.
Cilian and the Girl arrive just in time.
Turns out Purrlion did belong to the girl ... and it wasn't always a jerk.
Purrlion waited a long time for her to come back but she didn't.
Apparently the girl was in an accident which prevented her from returning.
The ground is giving away under the group at the bottom's feet.
Purrlion doesn't buy the girl's story.
The girl tries to convince it, but ACTION happens before it can decide.
Cilian and the girl try to pull them up but they're overpowered.
Purrlion runs off to try and find help.
Meanwhile the group sends out their Pokemon (Snivy, Pansage, Exacdrill) to try and hold on.
The rope snaps, but Purrlion comes back with help just in time.
At sunset Meowth and Oshawott make one more pass at Purrlion.
The ... male Purrlion.
Episode ends with Jessie/James waiting on a helicopter.

Completely standard Filler fare, but the twist at the end was a unique way of ending the " romance ". Oshawott falling in love with Purrlion seemed a bit forced though.

I am kind of suprised no capture happened, but it just makes the other capture speculations more likely.

I know I haven't seen this but I wanted to comment. Actually not the first time we seen a semi gay Pokemon couple, controlled or not Piplup and Pikachu fell in love with each other because of that machine back in D/P, and both were male proven by the latest Togepi episode just before that.

That is hilarious though, anyways going from Anoobis summary. I think Pikachu disliking Meowth is a continuation of other times when he had to join forces with him, sometimes he never trusted Meowth and was like what are you doing here you jerk >.> Remember the Kanto episode Shipwrecked when they were forced to call a truce and Pikachu shocked him.

I wonder what it is J&J are actually doing, I think it could be a scam of some sort too. The question what is with the wait? What is Meowth and TR, or what could they be trying to do.

Wow, I didn't know Oshawott was that small compared to Meowth. O_o

It is a bit silly that Pokémon can't identify each other's genders. At least there was a twist at the end, and it didn't end with Purrloin going off with another Pokémon.
