Yeah its not set in stone teams have proven they are beatable Celtic being the latest to prove it in Europe, though I think its not a question about being scared of them, when Arsenal drawn them a few years ago I was glad hoping it would be Arsenal's turn for payback sadly that didn't come through. They are beatable outside the Nou Camp its just taking them on there is where Barcelona do the damage. Though if you ever get drawn against them I will be backing PSV!
Oh sorry my bad :P lol and yes that's true I have seen many teams face Barca and they already lost before the game began cause they give in to the pressure of the occasion going against "the greatest team ever" does have that effect. Though goo goo ga is all you really can do when you see Messi coming unless your Chelsea he is going to score against you.
Yeah! Awesome! ^^
Yeah i hear ya. People all over the world jizz their pants whenever Messi is playing. True he's good, but the hype around Messi is a bit... Too much imo. He deserves the award for best football player of the year, but next year let's give someone else a chance.
Though could you imagine the reaction of someone like Ronaldo if you told him he won the reward because they wanted to give someone else a chance at winning it instead of Messi, I would hope it may put a dent in his ego!Yeah i hear ya. Yeah, and it's not like Barcelona will forever be like this. I give them 2-3 more years and then they'll be normal like they we're before.
Messi is not that much without Xavi, or was it Iniesta..I always mix those 2 up.
Not sure I think that's slowly becoming myth. last year out of Messi's 91 goals both them together only assisted him 10 times. They do help Messi but him as an individual is unbelievable really he scores some great goals and is the major reason behind Barca success. At the minute he's proving why he's the best in the world doing it for club and country. Last year he scored 12 goals in nine games for his national time and i think he's joint top scorer in the South America qualification group.
I'm not denying his greatness, but the team matters a lot. Maradonna was and is the only one who is a one man team.
Hmm i doubt that. I admit i haven't seen Maradona in action that much, mostly because i wasn't even born when he played. But from what i have seen and heard, i guess Messi is at least just as good as Maradona.
Well, a lot of strikers aren't much without midfielders and other players to back them up. Messi is one the rare exceptions though.
Nigel Adkins sacked! What on earth? That makes even less sense than Chelsea's dismissal of Di Matteo! What a ruthless business football can be.
What! that is a very big surprise! back to back promotion 3 points clear of the drop and after that result against Chelsea in your first season back at the top to get the sack doesn't make sense. I think they just made a very deadly mistake one that they won't recover from, I can see them going down now after all it took a couple of months for them to get used to the premier league and by the time a new manager comes in puts in place his style of play and maybe bed the players they get this window it maybe just to late. Sadly a stupid decision I feel that will cost them and they have no one to blame but themselves.
Also sky sources claim Walcott agreed to a new deal at Arsenal, bout time though I think he's still not going to be the big player Arsenal need
^He's the Southampton Manager, then he got fired.

Boo yah I'm a dog with crabs and cancer? Are you find out in alteredorigin.net.
With managers of teams like that, he'll probably go to something like Norwich.
I dunno how bad that guy was doing as a manager, but clubs seem to fire their managers awfully fast these days. Like Di Matteo of Chelsea. He won the Champions League last season and was fired because of dissapointing results in the next run. Sure they can't prolong their title but they can still try to do well in the cup matches and competition?
Just a question for all of you: Which clubs do you think will win the leagues? My guesses are Manchester Utd in England, Barcelona in Spain, Bayern in Germany, Juventus in Italy, and PSV in Holland. Most leagues aren't as exciting as last year, for example in Spain and Germany where Barca and Bayern are comfortably in the lead position. Same goes (kinda) for the Premier League. The Dutch and French leagues are pretty close still, though. So who do you think will win?
Completely out of the blue and at a really strange time too. If the Southampton board was going to sack him, it should of been a while back when they were letting in goals left, right and center! Atkins was their best hope for survival after putting in some good results in recent weeks. This is almost comical.
