I'm feeling Boros Reckoner in a silly sort of way. That's such a dope card. That, and Blind Obedience, too.

Its good to know I'm not the only one who's excited for Gatecrash. Due to my mum being awesome, I'm doing the prerelease on Saturday and getting myself a booster box for Gatecrash too! I have decided to go Gruul throughout Gatecrash (including the prerelease), and look forward to cracking a Domri Rade in a Booster. That would be amazing.

I even have 3 Decks Planned for Gatecrash, 2 of which are revamps of my Mono-Green and Selesnya decks, and of course, my Gruul Deck.
Favorite card of all of Gatecrash has to be... Domri. Definitely.

Domri is good except for he is easily killed by Abrupt Decay.

And he can't defend himself, which is a big deal for Planeswalkers these days. His abilities lend themselves to creature-heavy Aggro or Midrange decks, but you probably don't want to be dropping him on T3 in Aggro (because you'd rather play a creature), and T3 in Midrange he's too hard to protect. But you need to get him out as early as possible to get his Ultimate off.

I'm gonna try him, but with reservations.

Yes, but to be fair, Lilliana of the Veil is easily killed by Abrubt Decay. Doesn't stop her though. (Pretty bad justification, I know.)
Besides, out of my entire playgroup, only one person runs Abrubt Decay so I think I won't be seeing that often.

Yeah, it is hard to defend, but I think that early game, when there isn't much out, getting him up a few loyalty counters should be pretty easy. And my deck isn't really Aggro or midrange, my curve tops out at 8 for Skarrg Goliath, but oh well.

That sounds like the meanest, most fun way to win a game ever. And thats coming from the guy who's been beaten by a Dual-Casted Blasphemous Act on a Stuffy Doll.

domri may die to abrupt decay but at least he might replace himself with his +1 anyway, so that's a fair 1-for-1 imo.

Yeah Worldfire is banned, but Glittering Wish isn't (hehehe).

I think Domri would be alright as a turn 2 play though. T1 Stomping ground, Arbor elf, T2 Land, Domri, T3 whatever you need. That might just be me though, my deck curves out at 4.

Though I really like the Simic dual color creatures. Drakewing and Elusive Krasis are pretty cool, and so is Zegana. I also really like Spark Trooper and Ghor-Clan Rampager. Aurelia's Fury is beastly and exactly what Boros needed, and Aurelia herself is cool (but Kamotz has hammered her faults so bad into my head I can't really hype her up anymore)

Also, I've whipped up an experimental Simic deck. I put in a bunch of singles because I need to play them at least once to check their practical usefulness but doubted them too much to put any more than 1 in a deck. As it is, this is a huge prototype, but if, after testing, I like it, I might post the formula here.

Bear in mind when i say Simic deck, I really mean Simic deck. This is a deck that uses Evolve to its max.

I dunno...I've kinda warmed up to Aurelia. Not as an aggro card, but as a Midrange surprise. Aurelia's Fury is also a fun card, but not as a 4-of. Maybe 2 or 3 in an Aggro build.

Simic is fun. I use Zegana and Master Biomancer in my RUG Midrange deck, and they're awesomely cool. Biomancer makes Huntmaster and his Wolf both 4/4's. Snapcaster a 4/3! Thragtusk is a 7/5. THUNDERMAW is a 7/7! And Zegana gets 2 more counters and you draw 2 more cards off of that. And I've begun experimenting with Primordial Hydra, too.

If you do make that EDH, I'll hepl test I'm making a new EDH based of probably another 5 colored legend. It will focus on board wipe hehehe.

I only have one EDH deck using Mayael. I rarely get to use it, because nobody near me plays edh.

I have cockatrice, and I've put my EDH deck on it, but I don't much like playing randoms. I prefer to play people I know. When I've got a crap ton of people at school and at home to play with, going online to do it just feels weird.
