I have midterms this week, and I forgot to study over the weekend. It's all multiple choice, so I'm hoping to get lucky and still get an A even though I haven't studied at all.

Went back to class today, already dropped out of my Creative Writing class, I have no interest and it was too intense looking.

We got to start learning about evolution today, so naturally several parents complained about it. I also have to finish several overdue long-term projects I haven't even started on yet for science. I'm such a procrastinator.

This sounds like the exact opposite of the Creative Writing class I'm in. We barely do anything and he let us have a pizza party for an exam.

Also, we had a 2-hour delay today because of ice on the roads. I'd rather have had no delay at all though. The first four classes are cut to 1/3 of their original time, and it just makes whatever the teachers want to teach us such a hassle.

Lucky you. Our bus almost wiped out seven or eight times just going to school. I don't remember the exact number, I'm trying to blot out the memory of that traumatic experience.
Anyhoo, I have almost no homework today.

We have to pick our classes for next year soon. I know that my mom will make me take mother f*cking orchestra, even though I hate it, which means one less elective for me. Woo hoo.

Just say that you have to take _____ instead of orchestra because it's a requirement for graduation.

Does anybody know if orchestra/band/chorus looks good on a college application?

Yes, especially if you're applying to a program where many people are not likely to have those listed as high school activities. I would surmise that orchestra would be the best of the three, since those are rare in high schools (from what I've seen). Any extracurricular activities, especially those that show schools you have talent and make you stand out from the crowd, are great for applications.

This. Really, I'd put down almost every skill you have or extracurricular activities you have taken. It shows you can do a lot.

Probably. For example, if a college two academically-equal students are applying to has just lost a violin player, they are more likely to take the student who plays violin over the one who does not.

First day of my last semester. I look forward to getting into 4 day weekends but waking up at 6:30 three days a week just is not going to be as easy as I thought.

Disappointed. The one time I decided to be nice and buy some of my teachers really good gifts that I thought they might like but then they ended up saying "I've got that already" or "Huh? But I wanted something else!". All the money I spent on those went to waste.
