"Privacy setting" sounds like you need to change the friend setting for your account, but I forgot where and how.

the privacy settings need to be changed on the pokemon.com profile. if you set them to "everyone" then you can visit other islands & make dream pal requests...

It is set to everyone. I could also visit other islands in the Dream Pal Map so that's probably not the issue. I have no problem finding out my own details but I got that problem when I tried to view and add others.

Btw, my ID is 2076591 and my World is 1.

That most likely means its that other person who needs to set his/her account to everyone.

Try adding someone else?

Okay I'll give it a shot later. Is there a limit to how many pals you can have per game?

20 pals per account. I usually delete those who never visit my house after befriending me

Now I'm getting this message:

I was able to add the ShinyCelebi1 account but after that I kept getting this message. I get it for both visiting and adding a new friend.
