Why are joining?: Pokemon Special is a manga I got into a while ago, finding out it exists from Serebii.net, and becoming full blown excited to see it at my local book store. I was crazy about it a while ago, to be honest. My intrest fell as I got into other things, however I'd love to get back into the fandom again!
Who's your favorite character: Blue, (or Green, being that in Japan, Blue and Green got swapped) something about his character makes me love him. Probably the fact he's a rival, but a good one at that! I think Silver would beat him...though I haven't read past volume 2 of Yellow. So basically, I haven't read G/S at all.

Yeah, I guess that's about it. :3

If you could change anything about any of the characters, what would it be?
I'd make Red and Professor Oak wear dresses
I'd give Gold a mohawk. Don't question me.

I'd make Emerald slightly taller. He looks kinda...Idk. He looks like a toddler.

I would keep Blue's hair the same as it is all the way up until G/S/C. I don't really like her bangs in FR/LG when she takes off her hat. They're all...smashed down and weird. But I guess that's hat hair for ya. xD

Other than that, I think they're all just fine. ^^

I agree. Even more so when he's wearing his artificial limbs. He looks like a big running...cactus or something. (Sorry Emerald fans!)

No offense to Emerald fans, but something about him just annoys me, and I don't like his design. :/

What annoyed me most about him was his "I'm too good to team up with Ruby and Sapphire" attitude. To me he just ended up to be the generic "I don't need any friends because I didn't have 'em growing up" character. I see that all too often.

I hope this isn't considered "character bashing". :/

Why are joining?: My reason for joining is simple, the Pokemon Special manga is just awesome and a club that is based on it should be to.
Who's your favorite character: I've never actually thought about this one... I would have to say Red cause he was the main character that launched this whole series and without him none of the other characters would exist.

@DexHolderBlue- No, thats not considered character bashing, since your just saying what you think about that character. Character bashing for me is being completely rude or blunt on hating a character. Your fine.
Oh, and i agree with your statement on Blue. Her bangs do look a little weird like that. :/
But she's still awesome!

@Crimson- Nice Crimmage board! Those are some really good Red drawings! Oh and-

Yes, i totally agree! Kinda weird that people are older than her, yet she's she's smaller than them. I still love her though, regardless of height!


That also brings up an idea i had-
Would it be a good idea to add a fan art section? Like for your guys' drawings, sketches, ect.
I could put them in their own section in the first post, and have them under spoilers, or provide links to the art if the picture is too big. What do you guys think?

What did you guys think of the Yellow Arc?

I quite liked it. The Elite Four were awesome antagonists and Yellow was cute. Especially when Ratty evolved and she totally freaked out and started crying. It may sound a bit weird, but her crying was kinda cute because it showed that she was still just a little girl that doesn't really understand much about pokemon, even though she was so important.

^ well, i was waiting to see if any more people participated, but i guess not. I can post the answers now if ya want, seeing that no one else seems to be interested. Well, there is Buchou, but she still hasnt posted her answers, but it doesnt seem like we will getting them soon.......well......sorry Bochou, but ill start reveiwing your guy's answers, and when im done, ill post them here. What did you guys think of the Yellow Arc?

I really, really liked it. I didn't expect the Elite Four to have the goals that they did, but it made for some truly awesome battles/conflict. And I like Yellow too. She totally owned in her arc. =)

It made me wonder why they didn't make the anime based off of this manga, seriously it was that epic. I never expected the Elite Four or Shitenou to be the bad guys.

I liked the Yellow arc. I think it was a really good idea to have the elite four be the bad guys, it made it more interesting. Plus, I'm a HUGE Specialshipper and the fact this whole chapter was based off of Yellow finding Red was kind of huge thing, in my opinion.
If shipping talk isn't allowed here, just let me know. I apologize if you consider that off topic @MiGO. Sorry, I'm just a hardcore Specialshipper!
