Eh, like he said. most of the time. Friendship is too static for chaos, so he'll probably turn on it eventually.

fun facts about the ep. : by making Discord turn good and bring no more chaos, he brought chaos amongst fanfics and works about him that make no sense now. eg: he's making chaos without making haos.

A lot of people speculate him returning has to do with the "Twilight Sparkle: Alicorn in Training" rumor that's supposed to happen at the end of the season.

This ep. guarantees that rarity is the only pony of the mane 6 to not get an ep. in Season 3 (even scootaloo got one).

I don't get why people care so much. Ok, so if you actually cared alot about Derpy I can see people being upset about that, since it is just stupid that they're getting rid of her. However, I never really cared for her too much. As for Twilight, how will her being an Alicorn change who she is? She'll obviously still be the adorkable Twilight we know and love, just with wings.

But in the end, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't hate Twilight, but I hate the idea of her becoming an alicorn princess. I'll edit this later with an email that I sent to Hasbro about Twilight being an alicorn princess and Derpy being removed.

Dear Hasbro,

This may not be the right place to send my email to, but I'm concerned about the decisions you've been making for the show My Little Pony; Friendship is Magic. These are the decisions to remove the character Derpy Hooves from the show, and to make Twilight Sparkle an alicorn princess. If you've been sent loads of other emails like this and aren't going to read the rest of my email, please take the time to do so. I'll start with Derpy.

Derpy Hooves (or Ditzy Doo) is a background pony who is loved by almost all bronies. I am aware that you chose too remove her because her crossed eyes are offensive to some mentally ill people, but to some bronies who have the same condition, she is an inspiration. Removing her to make a small group of people happy is wrong, because that has made an extremely large group of people unhappy. If you have taken the time to look, you will have seen the scale of the Save Derpy campaign, which not only has its own website, but has spread across to many brony forums, image sharing sites like Tumblr and even apps like Instagram. Maybe, if there is a Season 5, you could reconsider your choice to remove her from Season 4.

It may be clear to you now that I am a brony (or a pegasister, as some of us female MLP fans wish to be called) too. If you don't think it'll be worth reading on, please just listen to the show's fans. Now for Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle is one of the Mane 6. A group of ponies who are very close friends, and all represent an Element of Harmony. Although Twilight does take centre stage in season finales, and has a tiara instead of a necklace, like the rest of the Mane 6, for her Element, they are all equal. Your plans to make her an alicorn princess will change all of this. She will be out of place in Ponyville, the rest of the Mane 6 will be overshadowed, and bronies won't want to watch episodes with her in them anymore. It will be too late when you see the email, if you do, because the Season 3 finale is only a few weeks away, but you should have thought about the consequences before you made this decision. Your main reason to make Twilight an alicorn is because you want to make more money by selling toys of her as an alicorn princess, but no brony will want to buy those, so you'll just be left with a smaller audience of parents and relatives who blindly pick up the first thing they think their kid, niece, granddaughter would like. Friendship is Magic will be like Generation 3 of My Little Pony, because of this choice.

You are killing FiM. You are killing its massive fandom. You are killing one of the best TV shows ever. Please think about your choices in the future, and consider all of your audiences.

Okay then... Derpy's removal was a bad choice (it was ten emials that said thatbDarpy means retarded. I don't mnow in what dialect it is, but whatever) yeah, but I'm okay with Twilight.

As with Twilight becoming an Alicorn, she'll just be overshadowed by the rest of the group because she already had her spotilight in the season finales/premieres.

Still hoping for Rarity ep. Before Season 4.

On the Alicorn thing, I just made a post in the MLP discussion thread about my thoughts, so I'll just repost it here.

First off, I don't think the writers would go for this if they didn't know what they were doing. And judging from the season opener where Celestia said that Twilight was ready for the "next level of her studies," I had an inkling that this would be happening. On Lauren Faust's twitter she said that she thinks people will like what they've got planned, so most likely she knows something we don't. Personally, I hope this episode expands on things that were touched on in the opener.

Second, we know almost nothing. All we have to go on are a couple of tweets, a teaser, and an article on an entertainment website. I'm gonna wait until I actually see the episode before I pass judgement on it.

Finally, like I said before. I like to see plot progression. I feel I need to bring up Beast Wars (Another show Hasbro had a hand in) as an example of new toys being introduced without negatively affecting the show (Transmetals, Fuzzors, you get the idea.). This worked because these character changes and new characters gave the writers more to work with. Since MLP is also competently written, I have faith that this will work out.
 

Also, I second This Day Aria being the best song on the show. Just...so...much...great... Must contain fanboy squeals.

Also, on another note, anyone else see Turnabout Storm part 4 yet? Really good stuff there.

Well, bronies (including I for a while) believed that, should Twilight become an alicorn, then it would disrupt the harmony between friends, seeing as though it suggested that she would then become a princess, hence having to reside at the castle or some crazy thoughts. Then I saw the meme on My Little Brony which asked, "What do we do now?", whilst responding, "Trust the writers."

Fennekin...words cannot express how much hate will befall your final evolution should it be a mix of Fire and Fighting...
