Cosplay is embarrassing when you're not at a convention.

Nope. You can be embarrassed if you demonstrate such a skill to people who would judge you for liking Pokemon. Yet, you can be proud for yourself or/and in front of people who "think" they are fans of Pokemon.

Drew an Azurill on my hand. Although I'm artistically inept I thought it was pretty cute..... until my friends saw it. Oh well, at least I like it

I said at the same time. Embarrassment and being proud are opposites. That would be like saying "I feel happy right now, but sad right now."

sigh... Oh memories, I will never forget you...

I once brought a pokewalker to school and it dropped out of my poket in the middle of a lecture. After the period my friend proceeded to tell me I was a pokemon noob and said things about me and pokemon that may not be said on this forum, which resulted in me beating the living crap out of him. I can get a little emotinal over pokemon. -.-'

Took me about a year to make it past Magma Cave in Emerald. When I finally beat it, I was so proud.

Both of the test results fit me perfectly, except for the fact I am quite smart. This next guy works too, but to a lesser extent.

I first learned about EV training, and I beat my cousins, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!! Since I began, they always beat me (we used totally random pokemon). I found out about EVs/IVs and team strategy, so I spent over a month making a team. After I crushed them for the first time, I've taught them about EVs and all that jazz, so we have some really awesome battles, it's just great. Pokemon is the one thing I don't think I'll ever be able to give up.

The problem with your statement is that it doesn't matter who you are, pretty much everyone knows what Pikachu regardless. Not to mention, say "Pokeman thing" and "red cheek things" just about gives away that you like Pokemon. Maybe not everyone would pick up on that but majority of people would if they are paying attention.

Not bagging on you or anyone, just making a point.

I was so distracted from playing my Pokemon Red when I was a kid that I fell of a jungle gym at a playground and landed on my face. Somehow, my game was still on and batteries still in my Gameboy Color.

In English 10, I had to write a provincial exam. An exam that was going to be graded by some random teacher that I would never meet. I had to write about how rivalries help better ourselves. I dedicated like the entire thing to Pokemon.

When I left my phone on with Serebii on it, open at my FanFic, one of my friends picked it up and I didn't notice. She then said,

    "Do you like Pokemon?"

    "Yes......" *blushes*

"That's sad, but you also read Pokemon stories!" *wave phone in my face*

    *blushes even more*

"But this one is alright..... I mean, whoever wrote this is the weirdest person on eath, but at least it's okay."

    "Ummm..... I wrote it."

"In that case it sucks!" *winks and walks off*

    *laughs*

It turns out she went back to the website later that day and read loads more fics, she liked a lot of them more then mine, but at least I sparked an interest in Pokemon for her!
Remember, don't worry about the choices that you make now. Because you will 100% regret anything your younger self did/said whatever it was when you grow up some. So go on, aim for your dreams and enjoy the present~

I got back from TCG regionals on a sunday night, and took my pokemon bag to school the next day instead of my backpack. It had all my poke-plushies, my deckbox, my binders, and a bunch of poke bouncie balls and key chains in it.
    and nobody noticed
But i thought someone would start teasing me, so I was pretty embarresed
    After a 2 month hatiaus, I'm back!

Being 24 and still buying pokemon toys.

I bought these > http://*******.com/r/2nj9elz/7 < earlier this week on ebay and they just got here this morning. I was so excited when the mail lady dropped the package off. I then posted it on Facebook because that's what cool people do apparently.
