What Stouty has going for him is that he can switch out when a counter is used without losing a boost because he doesn't use that. Excadrill loses his precious SD boost when he switches.

Anyways what's your problem? Are you the president of the Excadrill fanboy club? Newsflash, no Pokemon is perfect so you have to play with their strengths. This applies to Excadrill too.

Stoutland may look good in paper, but even with fire fand it really cant do much to skarmory, also, the difference between exca and stoutland was one, the typing and two, that exca has SD which outclasses that big thing. Not only that but if predicted it cant really do alot.

Just 2hko'ed (no SR damage) a skarmory last day with wild charge.

Stoutland is good not good as excadrill was but he IS really good, if there wasn't excadrill he would be OU just because people underestimate him, he will get a better move pool eventually.

While Stoutland may not have near the power (or quite the speed) that Excadrill had, it is worth noting that he takes hits better and has only one weakness, although fewer resistances. He also has a more impressive movepool. Sure, he won't be a top OU threat. In fact, I can't think of any Sand Rush user that will even compare to Excadrill's legacy. But in UU he'll be a nice Sand sweeper, possibly alongside Sandslash if it ever gets released.

Yeah, Stoutland is a beast revenge killer, with awesome facial hair. He's double speed in the sand, and after one of your pokemon has fainted, retaliate reaches a phenomenal 210 BP. Ouch! Return is a good move/replacement, as, although not as poweful on the first turn, it will retain its 153 BP each turn. Crunch prevents it getting walled by ghosts, and fire fang does the same for steels.
