I'm still a bit confused with the coins. They give you the smallest ever boost as soon as you get one, but they also raise your overall kart speed? To be honest I haven't felt much of a difference when racing with no coins and ten coins.

I just got this game, and there will be long stretches of super easy, and then some moments where I'll end up losing all 10 coins... It's loads of fun, though!

Got the game on the 6th, and I'm currently finishing up the 150cc cups. Also swearing profusely at my stupidly bad luck in actually beating the 150cc Special Cup right now... I always get so close I can taste it, but then something ****s me up (I fall off a ledge or get hit by something) and I wind up having to try again. And again. And again. :|
