So, is anyone still bothered about the tornament? I feel we can't really organise this, maybe spontaneous races are more our thing, when someone goes online and other people join throughout the night.

I still want to do it, but I agree that it will be too hard to get everyone to agree on a time.

I would love to join, but can't bother playing the game for more than 2 minutes Its just too boring to play online. Plus The joining issues is just a waste of time if i can't join a real life friend if hes literally sitting across the table from me using the same connection.

Didn't realize this thread was still alive. Dusted off MK7 for the first time in months today. Couldn't play for more than 2 minutes.

The game's alright. Most of the time I don't play it, sometimes I do, probably for the online. Mainly using Yoshi, Lakitu, or Metal Mario. Bowser and Luigi when I feel like it.

Yeah, if we're going to have a tournament we'll have to select a time (I think between Boxing Day and the day before New Year's eve wold work well) and refine how it's going to work. We could always use Serebii.net's main chatroom or create our own chatroom via Xat or the like for when it's going on.

Aside from that, just collected 4500 coins and got 3 star rankings on ever cup in mirror mode. Dear Lord, since when did 150CC become so tough…

After Christmas may be good as if I get enough money, I may buy MK7 again to play and because I regret it so bad >.<

150CC isn't tough, so much as it's tough to perform well enough to earn the three star ranking. I think it requires you to hold first place for a certain amount of time (or portion of the race), so... yeah, it's hard to do that. It's easy to win if you're just unlocking stuff, but I had to bust my *** to finally three star everything.

150cc isn't tough, just tough to get 3 stars. I settled for a 1 star ranking in my old one.

I think it requires you to hold first place for a certain amount of time (or portion of the race), so... yeah, it's hard to do that. It's easy to win if you're just unlocking stuff, but I had to bust my *** to finally three star everything.

Speaking of which, I've almost accomplished such. I still need to get the 3-star rank on 150 CC's Special Cup and I'm done and off to the races (multiplayer ones to be exact).

Koopa in the soda airplane is great. Once you get in first, you can take any hit, even blue shells, and still not lose much distance, if any. If you hit a banana you barely lose speed.

Due to nostalgia of last Christmas (those who were a part of it will know what I mean haha) and the fact of truly regretting selling this game, I have made a deal with my mum. I currently have £9.50 and can sell PBR for £9. My mum said that when she gets paid, she will pay the rest of the money for me to get MK7 and knock however much she pays off whatever I get for Christmas. She gets paid at the end of this month so hopefully I should have it sometime in October.

What's happening about this tournament? I'll join if it starts in quite a while, the places aren't full and it actually goes ahead. I can't wait to hopefully do some races with some people!
