Craigs List isn't that bad, providing you're not a completely oblivious nincompoop. I found my first apartment on there. For all the sketchy ads you find, there are plenty of legitimate advertisements.

I've bought and sold on Craigslist before and the creepiest encounter I've had was some little old lady who wanted my busted Xbox for some raisin. I reminded her it wasn't completely functioning, and she said that's just how she wanted it. Clevelanders are weird people.

But yeah, I actually found this position through Craigslist. The company's worked with other graduates from the ITT I went to, so I know they're pretty legit.
I just, y'know. Want to find something that I know how to do. There's no use in applying for jobs I'd have no hope in doing well at.

I always meet people in public places in the daytime when selling/buying things. If you follow that rule you're generally safe using craigslist to buy and sell.

a guy and his 14 year old son on my street got shot because of craigslist. it was on the news for 4 days after that.

the moral of the story: never trust craigslist. even if they seem like a legit group that you went to college for.
