Buy a cheap one for parts on Ebay and do it yourself?
There are always ways. What make/model is it?

I don't know how to fix this
That's the same thing that happened to my old laptop. However, the adjective old described it REALLY well (ran on Windows 95, lol) so we just got a new one.

Just buy a cheap replacement screen off somewhere and look up a tutorial on how to replace screens on line. It's useless otherwise so you might as well give yourself a project for the summer.
Especially as it's so new. It's not worth wasting it.
Seriously what laptop is it?
A Lenovo
At least mum bought one for herself which i use now which is the same laptop
Build A Bear is so much fun, although I felt really stupid wandering around in there :u
This is actually pretty amazing to watch.

The end didn't work properly but i was mesmerized by it. I'd just hate to see that much work get destroyed at once.
Great signature, Zwitter.
I realize the video it came from is an awesome video for anyone to watch, but just wondering, do you happen to be a gymnast?
Valoo, that was also a really cool clip. I liked the domino Game Cube the best.

Today's the big day! CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL DAY!!!! The final that Barcelona was supposed to be in...
I don't follow soccer so i barely know what your talking about
If you are one of the group who believes that people putting false statistics in their signatures to validate their own opinion, then telling others to put it in their signature, should be punished severely, do not put this in your signature and press 1. If you believe their statements are detrimental to society, press 2. For comments, complaints, or concerns about this signature, press 3. To redial, press 4.
It was fun though, other than the dying part.
Back, folks. I apologize for the extended absence and hope there has been nothing so pressingly in need of my services that the other Misc mods were not able to cover it. I doubt there would ever be such a situation, anyway.
I was reading from where I left off last week until I noticed the thread had gone from page 695 to page 733 and then I figured the cost of reading all those pages was probably greater than the information and entertainment it might bring me. But for the few pages I did get through before that realization, I was able to see that there are a handful of users I no longer recognize more than just barely. I therefore echo GrizzlyB's sentiment about putting old usernames in sigs or usertitles or something, at least until June. (And kudos to those few who already employ the tactic - thank you, compassionate souls.)
I would also like to thank Pirate555 for her discussion about logic with me since it was the most interesting and relevant reply to my question; the nature of evidence and the idea of a closed system of self-justifying or self-referential proofs are also very interesting, in so far as we can ask if there could be such a one that wasn't circular. Oh, and congratulations on being the daughter of a philosopher of consciousness, which is an amazing and fascinating thing to be, and please shake your father's hand on my behalf when next you have the means.
Also, to the sleepy someone who said we "know" it to be true because no one has yet proved otherwise: a good and thoughtful answer, and similar to my own still-forming theory in a way, but no one has yet proved that Cap'n Crunch is not actually the spirit of a pirate dead of scurvy because all he had to eat was baked grains and so now his ghost uses its scabbard to cut the roof of your mouth when you eat his namesake cereal, yet we do not "know" this to be true either. So it doesn't explain our certainty.
How nice it is to be home again.
