Being behind the wheel doesn't scare me, but I hate grabbing gas because whenever I go to the station there's a huge lineup and then I feel really stupid while waiting. I got over it pretty quickly but I still try to squeeze as much gas as I can.

This is one good thing about me working in a different state. Gas in Missouri is 20 cents cheaper than it is in Illinois so I can fill up on my way home from work for less. It might not seem like 20 cents is a lot, but when you're talking gas, it can actually make a big difference. I hate getting gas, though. It seems like such a waste ever time. It always makes me think of all the other things I could have bought with that money, especially on the occasions I have to fill up more than once a week. I don't have the option of public transportation, but even that can be expensive these days.

I can't even afford a car or insurance at the moment.
My Jeep isn't quite that bad. Maybe ~$60 to fill it up, depending on which side of the river I'm on and how empty it was. It really sucked when I drove all the way to work today only to get "LOL Low census, go home." Really? I never thought I'd be like "Please, let me be a glorified ass-wiper for 12 hours" but that's really how I felt. I love my job, but it wasn't worth the drive to be clocked in for a whole 7 minutes.

Oh no my teachers are still on strike. They just decided not to go through with removing extracurricular activities. They figured it wasn't worth punishing the students further. It's actually a huge pain because they won't write report cards and I sort of need that for university applications.

I'm 23 and don't have a license. Public transportation in my city is good enough for the money I save.
wh
I was comfortable with walking and busing everywhere, but then I had to get my license at 19. We needed another driver in the family. And to be honest, it came in handy a good few times.
