My guess would most likely be someone over the age of 13 who is a little insecure about liking pokemon at their age. It's seeking validation to some degree, as knowing other people their age and older may make them feel a little more comfortable about liking pokemon.

Well if that's the case then there's no need to worry person who may or may not have been concerned about that. There are a bunch of people on online Pokemon forums that are close to 30 years old.

How did this happen? It was just a random thought. Posting random stuff is what I normally do one Chit chat thread since it anything goes sort of thing. I didn't even think anyone would care that much.
