Adventure Time and Regular Show both try very hard to be the cartoons from the 90's that everybody loved. Doesn't work for me, though. Gravity Falls does, though. I really should watch that more often.

Presumably the latter. Either that or they all figured that they were all unporkable. I guess because none of them looked like Brad Pitt or Christina Hendricks (which is to be expected when the folks in question are 14-18) or whoever is considered sexy these days (I'm still on Nikola Tesla...).

I wish I could forget high school. Not because of the schools I went to, as both of them had some pretty cool students and teachers. More I because really really ****ed up back then. I have mostly been able to completely disassociate myself with who I was back then, I still cringe when I think about it.

I think we all make a lot of mistakes during education from high school on. My biggest ones were either giving up hope in general in my last year of high school (still passed with a commendable GPA, though) and making any friends in college. Since I started going to Aurora U from a community college, I've made no friends, and I'm really goddamned happy and have decent grades.

The craziest thing that happened when I was in high school were some kids lighting each others pants on fire at a pep rally. They were sitting right behind me, but I was too busy trying to hurt myself to turn around and look. We never had a pep rally outdoors after that. Probably because I was pretty blabby about how awesome the whole things was the next day.

I can't say I could see them having any real-world success.

Fortunately not. While I enjoy the program I imagine the the craziness wouldn't be great when I am feeling really nauseous.

Trying not to step in all the word vomit.

Anyhow, a temp. teacher of mine in Gr. 11 (was filling a position for someone on sick leave for the year) who was super awesome and slack ended up getting a permanent position just outside the city and he ran off to B.C. (halfway across the country) with a 16 year old. Caused a country-wide Amber Alert. He was married with kids. We were all like LOLWUT??

I ****ing love Arthur and still watch it on a regular basis. It's not only pretty good for it's educational purposes, it's actually pretty entertaining as well. I just wish PBSkids wouldn't keep rerunning the same episodes so often.

In other news, one of my friends was complaining that she couldn't go to MAGFEST because of work. That would be understandable if it wasn't for the fact that she is working at a Renaissance fair and got to be queen for a bit.

Oh that's easy. Clubs banned that sort of conversation so it had to go somewhere else. Just happened to be here.

For the sake of it, I can vouch for internet friends. I have a bunch of friends that helped and were great people back on mangafox. Sadly the place has died out...lol

It distracted me from a few...horribly descriptive things I had to go to. It wasn't that much overall, but damn was it bad.
