It's been many a year since I've played that.

There are some great games on the Sega Genesis, and many of them are often unjustly forgotten. It had probably my favorite version of Flashback, a great port of Sunset Riders, the superior 16-bit Aladdin game, Vectorman, Landstalker, Gunstar Heroes, probably the best version of Earthworm Jim...

Maaan, Ecco the Dolphin was where it was at. Or the Lion King game. Oooor the Jurassic Park game where you got to be a raptor and eat the InGen employees.

I wish my Sega Genesis still worked.

I was going to only show you guys this very neat video (overdoes it with the recaps, mind), but even though that alone is fantastic I quickly realized this is well worth the momentary attention it will ask of you.

I got a machine called at Retcom 3 that you can buy over eBay that can play the old games since the licenses on the technology became public domain.

Ecco the Dolphin was a great game, but hard as nails.

Vectorman is a really good game. You should play it if you get a chance. (It's on Steam. It's very worth picking up.)

It's just going to turn into an argument about how bad sonic is now.

The only Sonic games I've ever played were Heroes for the Gamecube and 06 for PS2. The former was fantastic when I played through it when I was younger, though going back on it nowadays it doesn't hold up all that well. Still good for nostalgia. 06 was going to be a challenge to myself to see if I could tolerate it. Ended up shelving it halfway through the Sonic storyline.

Of the 3D Sonic games, I feel Sonic Adventure 2 had it right.
The classics were good. Personal preference to Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

    Was that the actual dialogue?

I know it's not likely, but some people are crazy.

I enjoyed the classic Sonic games the most (Anything pre Sonic 3D Blast was alright, but **** blast it was terrible). For me there hasn't been too many decent Sonic titles since X-Treme got cancelled and Blast put in its place.

Of the 3-D era games I've enjoyed the most, I would have to say Adventure 1&2, Generations and Colors.

Of the 3D Sonic Games, I only play Free Riders because it manages to be a contender for the worst game of the 7th generation of gaming
