I have, and that's why I'm whining. Christ, most of the social sites that I know people on, either all of them left or the sites folded. Now I have to sifted through Homestucks, Ponies, Wreck-It Ralph (or as I prefer to call it "A Cynical Cash-In on the Hobbies of Lonely Sad People") and a bunch of things where a bunch of teenage fanfiction-writers have horse-shat pairings together based on things they misinterpret because of what I can only assume is a massive intellectual deficiency instead of a social one.
Oh, and the "social justice" crap, which seems to be more of a concerted effort to set social justice back several years. And the people who cry about gay fetishization while pretending that lesbians are better people just by virtue of being lesbians. And the Bentdick Cumbersome (or whatever his name is) fangirls. Or the people who like the canon-mangling Joss Whedon take on Avengers. (Incidentally, his name makes me think of burning things, and not just because he's one of the most overrated people in the medium.)
Yyyyyyeah, that too. I follow a few blogs because they're my friends' blogs, then a few one-subject blogs, e.g. one for the not-oft-discussed 70s genre-bending band Sparks... but even to get to anything interesting, I have to sift through about a million posts of "Bubbline" or whatever they call that pairing nowadays.
Need I remind you that you're attempting to apply the rules of bad adult fiction to children's cartoons? Oh, and then there was the petition after the creators took something down from their website, where the "fans" were asking the studio not to bend to the heteronormative animation police and keep in a gay pairing that wasn't even canonically in the series anyway and which was taken down for reasons that had nothing to do with any supposed heteronormative animation police.
(Incidentally, I think the closest we've ever gotten to a gay character in a "children's" cartoon was Bugs Bunny, but he was a. probably just a troll, and b. in cartoons that were originally not targeted at children.)
