This is not a kids forum. Its an adult forum based on a kids videogame franchise.

Dont ever let me hear you say something like that again.

Did I come at a bad time or is everyone just pissed at someone besides me right now?

    because I love that idea...

Well, someone was (reportedly) pissed. But not at anyone.

That channel was cool for what it was, a place for a bunch of teens to gather and talk about teenager goofy ****. I miss you too Cruxis. And you're wrong, I'm pretty sure I was just as bad if not worse than you when I was new. Just vaguely remembering some of the types of posts I used to make makes me wish I could delete all of my 2007 posts.

You realize it's a lie when you actually get close to the 'rebellious' people you admired on the forums and realize there's nothing interesting or rebellious about them they're just a bunch of nerds on an internet forum like you.

That's what happened when I met most of the people on #spp-misc

The part that raised my eyebrows had to do with the thing about letting his father bathe him.

You didn't hear it the first time. You saw it.

On this other topic, I kind of think my post quality has declined over time. Or at least become less consistent. Not that I was ever tops anyway.

Hahah no trust me i even asked ellie to destroy all my pre 2010 posts out of the embarrassment. Im disgusted at how i used to be.

Also why so depressing? Theres a few nerds on spp misc, but they are cool nerds as stupid as that sounds. Im a douchebag and when im in canada spend my days drinking, lifting, fukking, and sleeping, so usually cannot relate to these people at all but i can still have a laugh woth them. Theres also some awesome people who arent nerdy, just bored. Such as myself.

There is that. Did you ever see the video of the Max Headroom Broadcast Interruption Incident? The part at the end of it? Yeah. It reminded me of that. I'll find a video and post it up if anyone's curious. It's not the most work-safe thing, though.

Dude I wasn't being depressing at all. Being a nerd isn't a bad thing to me. You just realize after a while that 'all these people are just like me' and get to know them as opposed to 'oh gosh look at all these COOL RUDE DUDES i bet they're all part of a motorcycle gang and look like the cueball trainer sprite'

That was on a NOPE thread I was looking at last night, but it was 3 AM and too much of a woman to watch it. Unfortunately the thread 404'd and none of the videos would load today, even though I kept the tab open. Soyeah, I'd appreciate the link.

On the topic of hangovers from the last page, I tried my first ever alcoholic beverages a few nights back. My buddies had a bottle of apple flavored Sake which they said was extremely sweet and delicious. I tried a bit and nearly spit it back out. I tasted nothing but alcohol. They called me a pansy and made me up a screwdriver, which was mostly orange juice. Even through all that, I still tasted the vodka and couldn't take it. They were both repulsive, so it'll probably be my last tango with alcohol.

    I'm a terrible Russian.

Instances of you robbing, cussing, and behaving unrealistically uninhibited around here are short in memory, Gladys, I'm sorry.

I've never heard of the video Mariya mentioned. And the last time I had a screwdriver was about sixteen years ago. I couldn't stand the taste, either.

How would anyone get that kind of impression from visiting here? Is posting negative things on a pokemon forum really that subversive?

    How about "mandatory fundraising", then?

You were given a screwdriver sixteen years ago? That's some, uh... lax (or something) supervision.

Maybe it's because of the contrast from the rest of the forum? I dunno, I'm still scared that they might be cueballs anyway.

Here's a link to the video with subtitles added in and a bit of context re: the interrupted program. Like I said, slightly NSFW. Here's the Wikipedia article on the hijack and another similar, but less successful hijack.

And there you are. Interesting to me, for some reason or another.

I'm going to continue to imagine these past acts disapprovingly unless I'm convinced the "fundraisers" just asked for money while allowing passersby the option to decline. (Harumph.)

When I joined, I just assumed the negativity in here was a symptom of teenagery and that it would phase out as the offenders matured. It's been about five years now, and...

Well, I mean, it was ostensibly just a toll booth, and it's not as if they could just say, "You're not paying? Nah, you don't get to go to school today." Moreover, our SRO was supervising the whole thing, and he actually provided some of the equipment they used to make the blockade.

Of course not. I stole it.
At least this proves that your descent into moral questionability is not just a recent phenomenon.

So there I am at my son's IEP (Individual Education Program) meeting. listening to the specialists list how my son's Autism is progressing. It's a chore to listen to some of the people pat themselves on the back while others show they are working with your child.

Anyway the districts head of the special education programs was sitting in due to my wife complaining about how our son had been coming home upset and crying almost everyday for the last 3 months.

We were pleasantly surprised as she took control and pointed out how the staff could tailor their programs better for our son, and to try new things for him and others in their school.

What caught my attention was when the director spoke about how people with Autism often are unable to understand the things most of us just accept. To an Autistic person everything is cut and dry. So as an example if you or I said, "It came right out of the clear blue sky." The Autistic person may not understand how said object arrived. It could not have fallen out of the sky. Wouldn't it have broke.

So I was taught that we have to give some extra understanding to the fact that these kinds of questions are common and in fact normal coming from many people with Autism.

    Anyway wanted to share this...

    So true!

Am i a bad person if i screw over a friend who tried to screw me over?

Theres this girl ive been gettin on and my boy was like ill get her before you and i lold and said go for it. Hes a shy b!tch who just smiles at her but doesnt talk, and comes to me all excited saying SHE SMILED AT ME. Then this pussy adds her on fb and msgs her on fb but never talks to her IRL LMAO. So im talkin to her and apparently my friend told her that i said she loves me and im gonna fukk her and ****, and she got offended. This **** knows she likes me so hes tryin to screw me over. So i tell her hes a compulsive liar who obsesses over you and thinks you like him, and hes trying to get you not to like me. And that he masturbates to your pics on fb which is why he added you, but wont talk to you irl. Delete him and dont talk to him again. Then she tells him off. Lmao

Now my boys mad at me saying i messed up his chances.
    I should just kill him.

We've had our own experience with IEP. My younger sister (17) has been in IEP since Elementary school, because she's a little slow. And by that I mean she just doesn't catch on as fast. Once she knows something she's got it down, but it takes her longer than most students. Anywho, every year they insist that she's ready to be introduced into regular classes, because she excels in the IEP courses, but every time they put her in a regular class, her grades drop like a rock and they can't understand why. I don't know, you've only been working with her since she was seven, shouldn't you realize that she can't work as fast as the regular courses want her to? This year she's only in one regular class (French), and that's because she's pushing herself to do it. I've never seen someone so determined to do something, and they were telling her that she "couldn't do it." This got me mad.

You don't tell my sister she can't do something, especially when she's got the drive to do it and you're supposed to be helping and encouraging her. They only let her in because I set my foot down and demanded they let her. Right now she's getting a B+ in there, and they're insisting that because of this, she can handle ALL of her senior year classes to be regular. For US Government I can possibly see that (seriously, it's a gimmie A), but we all know she can't handle it.

I really want to know how, exactly, they gauge how an IEP student is ready for these sorts of things.

Same problem with my son. His IEP from last year showed my son was here in math, and here is reading. The school put him right in the grade appropriate classes and my son crashed into the wall. It's like each school does not believe the faculty from the year before... even when it's the same schools faculty! The objective of the IEP is to help the teacher to teach the student. We're helping put together the info package for his first year in middle school right now. It is VERY specific what he needs to succeed. The fun will be next year we will have to wrestle with more than one teacher per semester. It's been bad enough with getting one teacher on board.

    So true!

Assuming that they acknowledge each IEP students has his or her own specific needs, there is probably system that encourages experimentation with the IEP student's boundaries.
