Anyway the districts head of the special education programs was sitting in due to my wife complaining about how our son had been coming home upset and crying almost everyday for the last 3 months.

We were pleasantly surprised as she took control and pointed out how the staff could tailor their programs better for our son, and to try new things for him and others in their school.

What caught my attention was when the director spoke about how people with Autism often are unable to understand the things most of us just accept. To an Autistic person everything is cut and dry. So as an example if you or I said, "It came right out of the clear blue sky." The Autistic person may not understand how said object arrived. It could not have fallen out of the sky. Wouldn't it have broke.

So I was taught that we have to give some extra understanding to the fact that these kinds of questions are common and in fact normal coming from many people with Autism.

    Anyway wanted to share this...
Having dealt with IEP matters (to some extent) when I was younger... they really couldn't ever help with anything I actually needed help with. None of the psychological issues. That was years ago, of course, and it was well-intentioned... it just never really worked all that well for a lot of things. It probably did more good than I think, but not really for psychological matters.

Eh, my IEP help was of no use. There really wasn't anything wrong with me. I just found school to be realy boring when I was younger and prefered to mess around in class with my friends instead of doing my work. I dont really think they should try to label every kid that doesn't too well in school with a IEP when there are others that clearly need it. Getting taken out of the class for state test and constantly having those meeting even though you tell them nothing is wrong is kinda annoying.

My little brother is in IEP, for his actual (not internet) autism. They do absolutely nothing to help him develop his skills. My mom makes him write every day as homework (causing his slow improvement), but doesn't mention it in his meetings. Of course, the IEP people take the credit for this.

Then get your mom to tell the teachers the administrators the pope. Everyone who has any thing to do with the IEP We recently told the teachers that when they give our son a "Project" We recently had to do a section on the lungs with models, and posters and the works. We did the 2work and got our son to memorize his speech which we wrote. He could not have done the work, maybe he could have done the speech, but if he had done the rest he would have not gotten a good grade, he would have felt miserable because he failed. It's a lot of headbutting and fighting to get the aid needed, There are also Autism advocates who will help your mom get the help your brother needs if your mom can't get through to the administration on her own. Google Autism Advocates for your area.

    So true!

Men will do a lot of retarded sh!t for pussy.

Hey guys what do you think of this poem i wrote

    (It's this girl)
    She lives next door
To the store that I loiter at
We talk every night, she cry to me about her guy
And if we text, I get pissed when I get no reply

    (It's this girl)
I know that she's the key to love
She is who I'm thinking of when I am beating richard up
The mental images her face looked
The closest that I got was when I'm poking her on facebook

    (This girl)
    Video chats are so exciting,
Cause it's like she is inviting me to her world full of privacy
I'm getting gassed up, I think she's liking me
She's gullible, and I just wanna take it like a pirate (aargh)

    (This girl)
    I see her in class
Not really two doors down, but any time that I pass
To take a piss in a stall, I picture us in the hall
Locking lips on the wall, her hand grabbing my dick
My left hand on her tits, aw my ****'s getting hard
Some thoughts of dating this *****

    (It's this girl)
Her name is my password (...****)

    (This girl)
All my *****s got they *****es and stuff
But all the *****es, they ****
Are known as *****es and ****s
But she's special, I know to ya'll I come off as rough
But I'm the nicest to her, and I just want to concur
A relation, I want the cheesy dates at the movies
And stupid walks at the beach, and sharin' straws in a cup
I never had that, so when we holdin' hands walkin' home
I look past that, the fact she's ****ing guys that I hate
    But...

    (This girl)
Things are looking great, cut copy
Last time that we talked, she said her relationship was rocky
Now that Mr. *** is gone, there's no one that can stop me
From bagging her, I got these tickets to the Roxy

    (This girl)
Next day, metro's taking me home
I see her in a cut at wendy's, but she's not alone
Who's that guy, wait, why the **** he 'bout to kiss her?
Come to find out she got back with her... *****...
    (Damn)
    Damn...
    ****...

    (It's this girl) [x2]
She's so pretty, **** self pity, I feel so shitty
I wanna text her in a jealous rage, but if she replied
Or say anything, I'mma smile, I know

What do I do with myself? sit in my room for some days
Play xbox with piles full of wet socks, **** that

    (This girl)

My ***** asked "ace, what happened to such and such?"
I could slander her name, and then, tell em' I probably ****ed
Or I could tell em the truth and say she didn't like me much
But instead I lie and say she moved to nebraska...

    (It's this girl...)

Its amazing, I think you might be a genius.

Alpha Sapphire --> Arceus is the Alpha pokemon --> Arceus is a generation 4 pokemon --> Sinnoh confirmed!!

(Yeah, get used to it now, because this is what you're going to have to put up with for the next 5-7 years)

Finished watching Childs Play 1. Chucky just makes me laugh, and hate dolls even more than I did.

So I went out with some friends today, lost my voice, and my nurse friend believes I'm showing signs of strep throat, which I've never had before. :u Fantastic. I get to take a trip over to the free clinic tomorrow to see what they can do for me.
Other than possibly having a deadly throat infection and not being able to speak, I had a lot of fun. :u The Vow was a horribly Cliche movie, btw. It wasn't TERRIBLE, it was just...cliche. Very cliche. Also I tried gelato for the first time and it was FABULOUS~

Gelato is forbidden knowledge. Unfortunately, now that you have experienced wondrous gelato, you must now endure tastes that will fail in comparison to gelato.

    I know right.
    ;__;
I had two large scoops of pistachio gelato, along with some hazelnut, and it was the most delicious thing I've ever had.

Choose the penicillin injection. It's more effective than the pills.

I strongly suggest you read this book. It might give you some insight, and is a fun read nonetheless.

Speaking of which, this coming October I plan on moving to Spain for about a year to backpack around and such.

I'm expecting to kill and clean my own food as I move from one city to the next... as long as I don't die, my plan is fool proof.

It's a good book, but I think it would be a little presumptous, to assume it can help someone with their kid. Not all people with Autism are the same.

Too bad I'm deathly alergic to Penicillin. :u

Anyways, I just got back from the Minute Clinic (more like two and a half hour clinic), and I've got strep. Fantastic. I'm going to be on some high-level drugs for the next few days, but it should be cleared up by Thursday since I figured it out at such an early stage, apparently. I wish I knew how to say more than "sexy paper" and "A, B, C" in sign language, because playing charades for the next few days won't be pleasant.

Wow, I've gotten strep before and it really wasn't as bad as you make it out to be. I just had a sore throat and had to stay home from school (not because it was unpleasant, but because it was incredibly contagious).

Anyway, screw sign language. Just bring some cards with general everyday phrases you might need and attempt to communicate with those. If anything, it'll create some pretty funny situations.

Apparently it's pretty bad because (unknown to me), my tonsils are pretty bad so I need those taken out. :u I guess that explains my frequent sore throats, but it's not an immediate thing, so.

I'M JUST THE PICTURE OF HEALTH.
