    Urgh, that thread.

As far as public toilets... spiders aren't much of a worry. People leaving pounds of toilet paper scattered all over the toilet seat and giant turds in the bowl, yes, but no spiders that I know of. Or really, anything that's not human waste or toilet paper.

Just wait until the sun rises. Nothing's guaranteed until the calendar rolls over to December 22.

Alpha Sapphire --> Arceus is the Alpha pokemon --> Arceus is a generation 4 pokemon --> Sinnoh confirmed!!

(Yeah, get used to it now, because this is what you're going to have to put up with for the next 5-7 years)

I actually do find shorts comfortable and easy to wear, so thank you Youngster Ben (?) for bringing shorts to the mainstream.

On a scale 1-10, are they more or less dangerous than land whales? How about sky manatees?

Land whales aren't really that much of a threat if you can keep from getting crushed. They're on the low end of the scale, probably a 2. Snow sharks are still pretty low, since more people die in vending machine accidents per year than in shark attacks (snow or otherwise), but still have a potential to be deadly as they can smell your yellow snow from over a mile away, and might attack. I'd rate them about a 3, maybe a 4 in places where there's snow year round. The high-altitude mountain snow shark has been known to be deadlier, after all. Sky manatees have much more chances to cause death than the other two, as they can get caught in plane engines and bring 'em down. The most recent incident involved a pilot who had to land his plane on the Hudson River after both engines got taken out by sky manatees. However, due to the low amounts of actual death they cause, they're only a 6.

Some guy from the NRA, possibly even the head, says that Mortal Kombat causes gun violence.

Just like how Donkey Kong turns people into raging cocaine addicts. We've known this for years, but why are they only doing something about it in Australia, where the wildlife is more dangerous than any "assault weapon"?

What about earthsquids? I've seen a lot of those crop up near where I live recently.

Does the NRA literally care more about keeping guns sacred than actually stopping things like these?

Oh, right, it's definitely a game where people beat each other in a virtual world with their bare fists that causes violence with guns and not the fact that there are semi automatic weapons laying out in homes across the country.

To be fair, the guy is 64, the odds of him not being out-of-touch when it comes to video games are pretty much 0%. But good on him for showing that he cares more about his guns than the actual causes or REAL PEOPLE.

From what I hear violent crime is actually less common than it once was. And playing video games is more common than it once was.

Make fo that what you will, because I am not an expert at this kind of analysis.
