Gotta love time zones. They're badass mother****ers.
Well, here in Spain it's currently 3:16 on Wednesday![]()
Someone on another forum just posted this song, claiming it's obscure:

There's seriously something wrong with our generation
You would think that after getting a few inches of snow they would've canceled tennis practice... I can't feel my toes...
If that's obscure, this is obscure as hell.Btw it's something everyone should be required to listen to.
I wonder every day how Mr. Peart gets in and out of that jungle of drums. Or maybe they're like the shells in Mario Kart and they just kinda circle him all day.
Yeah, that's true. Listening to David Bowie was pretty much THE trend back in '07.
Though I suppose it might warrant a mention that most everybody at my high school was into classic rock, even the white wannabe gangstas who otherwise played Soulja Boy's "Crank Dat" nonstop, among other crap. Which resulted in a pretty awesome short list of what would end up our class song, which, regrettably, somehow regressed to being Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)".
If Guitar Hero didn't exist, then that would almost certainly qualify as obscure. As it stands, though, between that, "Tom Sawyer", and "Freewill", people end up mistakingly thinking they like Rush, and not just ~3-5 songs out of their 17+ albums, which makes their concerts sold-out and pricy, which upsets me. Good litmus test to see if people actually know crap about Rush or not: ask them to pronounce "Peart".
Oh, and he gets lowered into his kit with a little crane, last I checked.

How is any song with over a million views really all that obscure?
How does that end up as a class song? Sure it's not anti-all-education, but it seems that way to a lot of dumbasses.
To me, a lot of the Rush songs found on the albums only are way better than what tends to be most played on the radio. "Heresy" will beat out most of the hit singles any day. Never mind also "Between the Wheels," "Cygnus X-1," "The Fountain of Lamneth," "Cut to the Chase," "Armor & Sword," "Manhattan Project" ...If Guitar Hero didn't exist, then that would almost certainly qualify as obscure. Because some people just have no taste.
My dad just looked over my shoulder and told me that I should have more friends like you. The man's been Rush's biggest fan since the 70's. Got me into them when I was young, and "Snakes & Arrows" still stands as my favorite album from pretty much any group.
I still like to imagine that the drums are just always on his person...even though the crane thing is p cool.
How do you pronounce "Peart?"
Wise men at their end know dark is right.
