Isn't that Grade 7 stuff? Or are you thinking about something more complicated? Protons are positive, electrons are negative, neutrons are neutral. The protons and neutrons are inside the nuclues of the atom and the electrons are outside it. Pretty basic stuff. Electrons have very little mass. You're probably talking about something else though, right? Like calculating the mass of an atom?
Yeah, I can't think how to calculate them.
You mean Avogadro's number? I don't remember doing this, but apparently this site has a good example. Now if you were balancing equations...:Y
Always willing to help a friend in need.
Cheers Yoshi, I'll check it out tomorrow. I've never been told how to do this stuff, and I cannot find it in my book. =/
I'm listening to Ronnie Biggs atm (with The Sex Pistols)...honestly, he's surprisingly good.
?
In late September I was all pumped up for Halloween, horror movies, and such. Now it's mid October, and I don't give a Shit. I never stick with anything.
YUM YUM JIMMY JOHN'S!
Who pumps themselves up for Halloween in September?

Well then.
That settles that.
Why is it that half of the people who post in Misc seem to have some kind of mental disorder or some other problem similar to mental disorders?

It's confirmation bias, or whatever the hell the real term for the phenomenon that people with autism et al. will mention it as many times as possible in as many posts as possible, making it seem like there is a greater number of deficients than there are, because you read about someone having it every other post. On the other hand, functional people usually don't ever mention their normalcy at all, contributing to the bias. Or something.Originally Posted by Rebecca R.
