This reminds me that I need to find a costume for my friend's Halloween party...
I'm having a hard time finding something this isn't expensive or slutty and won't make me look like a blimp. I don't normally dress up, but she complains every time I go and don't have a costume.

Can't decide whether to go as Storm or Mystique from X Men. Probably leaning more towards Storm because a Mystique outfit would be really time consuming.

Mystique's "outfit?" You can buy blue liquid latex body paint on Amazon for $5...
But if you're going for the movie-verse Mystique, the scaley stuff probably would be kind of difficult... But seriously, "outfit?" She's naked in the movies.

I have a Hello Kitty choker in my dresser.

Not sure how it got there though.

I love halloween shopping. I'm just planning to dress as a mish-mash of things I like. (Witch, Vampire)
Or maybe even Red. (I have a Red shirt, Black T-Shirt,Dark Blue Jeans and Pokeball, But not long black hair and I wear glasses)

Clearly I'm not planning on rocking up naked, so I'd adapt it to an outfit. And yeah, the scales were what I was thinking about when I said it would be difficult to pull off.

Pirate clothing is pretty baggy, covers all the necessary areas and can help you rid your wardrobe of clothes you don't really want but keep anyway (by ripping them up).

Well, with the way many people dress for Halloween these days, you never know...

I thought about dressing up for halloween, but I decided against it. Most of my outfit ideas were dumb. That and I look scary enough as it is, apparently. I've been told on many occasions that I look like a (Middle Eastern) terrorist.

Would the IRA count? Don't they go around blowing up stuff and people? Or do I have the wrong Irish group?

This is actually a fantastic idea! I don't think I really have any pirate-y clothing, but I do have some boots that would be perfect for something like that. I could probably get anything I don't already have from Goodwill for pretty cheap. Thanks for the suggestion! =)

    I was joking.

IRA, ETA, etc. All terrorists, all non-arabic/islamic.

Yeah, there are a lot of terrorist groups out there, but a lot of Americans, who are good at stereotyping, think "terrorist = Middle Eastern terrorist" and don't much acknowledge the existence of other types much of the time.

The IRA weren't a terrorist group at first though. It was only later on that they started terrorising.

I got into an arguement with my father future mother-in-law about Terrorist=Muslim. She thinks it does. Stupid old people and their blatant racism! Tis one reason I don't like most of the old people I know.
