BTW, a point on what you said earlier. When you said your vote "wouldn't make a difference" because it was a Labour area, you failed to realise that the Mayoral Election does not boil down to regional votes. I say this not to criticise, but so that you should properly investigate how and why your vote matters next time, whichever way you go with it.

No, you're right. The excitement of voting for the first time made me blindly vote for a party instead of the person behind the party. Besides I'm used to having quiet driveled arguments about politics and the likes, and you just came along and smacked me on the behind, more or less. I don't really know much about Ken Livingstone past the heaps of praise certain people I know lump onto him.

Only the London assembly is voted for by region, and even then, you are guaranteed a place on the London Assembly if you get 5%. The Mayoral election is based on number of votes, nothing more (other than 1st and 2nd preference which I CBA to explain).

We don't really have good public transportation in the U.S. except for a few select places. And even in those places people ***** about it.

I live in the D.C. Metro area, and the Metro is definitely one of the better public transportation systems out there. But I still bitch about anyway. I guess I take it for granted.

I ended up choosing the smaller university because it is cheaper. (Lol I know none of you care.)

ANYWAY. I went out to the comic book store today with my little sister to browse around and such. They had already run out of free comics by the time we got there, but they did have a few Avengers freebies so it was good. I bought a couple of interesting issues of a couple series, and it was pretty packed in the shop, so even though I over payed I was really glad to see them getting so much business haha. c:
