Today at about 1:15pm I arrived at the social services building with a friend applying for some benefits. He handed the paper to the front desk clerk, who had him sign a couple of extra things and then said, "Sit down until they call you." More than three hours later and about ten minutes before the office closed for the day, my friend's name was called. We went into the cubicle where the new clerk asked him for confirmation on three questions written in the paperwork he'd handed in earlier, and then told us that, since he'd arrived after 1:00pm that day, he couldn't see an officer and so would have to come back again on some other day, before one in the afternoon.

We were a tad miffed.

He seems like a pretty cool guy when he's not trolling the forums. He actually recognized me, since he wasn't using the name Neo Duality, even though I never really came into contact with him that much. Weird...
