As I was taught in class, a "psychic" claimed to be able to see the past and what Lemuria was like...apparently everyone was an egg-laying hermaphrodite and they kept dinosaurs as pets (chew)

And also, I have a little gift for you, my clan. As some of you know, I'm running a D&D 3.5 campaign (Smug and Willie are partaking). However, after re-watching the first Sherlock Holmes movie with my fiancee, I'm tempted to do a related campaign (more to the era, not actually have it involve Sherlock...that'd be boring xD). Thankfully, there is a d20 Past system that is designed for this kind of thing. So, that said, I'll be running two campaigns this summer (starting in May, when my classes end), one D&D, one d20 Past. The latter is open ONLY TO CLAN MEMBERS. That's the gift...exclusive participation in this campaign. I'll take the first 5 applicants, and put the rest on a wait list. I'll make the campaign plot one that most fits the general consensus of the players. If you don't know about the nine alignments, let me know, and I'll post something, but you should be able to find suitable resources online. You don't HAVE to pick an alignment, as this will determine a spectrum, not force all players to have the exact same alignment.
EDIT: I found the class list, it's based on the six stats (Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma). In order, that translates to: Fighter, Tank, Ranger, Mage/scientist, Healer, Negotiator.
Also, the list of participants, and their preferred style, to avoid overlaps:
Chuck: Charisma--Negotiator
Swamp: Dexterity--Gunslinger
Steve: Strength--Martial Artist
Smug: Intelligence--Techie (altered version)

Ranger is archer, yes...but in this game, that'll equate to gunslinger. The setting of this game is equivalent to 1890's Europe (so, the industrial age).
And at this point, it seems that Chaotic Evil is winning (Chuck voted for it), so Imma assume that I'll be writing up an evil campaign. IF that ends up being the case, do me a favor and play it well. I hear Chaotic Evil is REALLY easy to screw up, because players decide to just do random sadistic and evil acts instead of acting organized. Just remember that Chaotic Evil is often represented by the Joker, so use that as a model. If I feel that your character is going overboard, I'll put them in a death situation.
